Watched the PBS special on it (missed the first 1/2 hour) - I was just amazed at the whole thing. Of course I had heard of it, it's legendary, but had no idea there were SO many people! And how did so many people learn it was happening? There was no internet then. I also wonder how much money the promoters lost - too bad they didn't get $1 per person. The farmer was cool. Wonder how long it took to get his land back in shape. Did anybody attend?
