Woo Hoo, just booked 1st trip in 4 years!!!

I've been looking into booking a trip to Vegas this Sept after four year absence. Used to go once or twice a year for about 20 years.
All my casino offers dried up and I was comparing prices at my fav places, Mirage and the Golden Nugget, and was shocked that GN was more expensive than Mirage (prefer gold tower at GN).
Then, out of the blue, I received an email from GN saying "It's been too long". Three free nights offer for June, July or August. Couldn't take a chance on passing this up, thinking I may not get another offer, and had some time off in June, so I booked it. Yeah!!! Looking forward to seeing all the changes in Vegas since I was there last. So excited, I had to post

Good for you!!! I still get excited for a Vegas trip... I live in Nevada and can visit a casino anytime I want, but there's NOTHING like Vegas. I hope you have a BLAST!
 
Are they comping you the resort fees also? Even if they are not, not a bad deal after a 3 year hiatus! Have fun!!
 
Yes, they are comping the resort fee for the 3 free nights. I'm paying for a 4th night, and I have to pay the resort fee for that one only.

What are some of your must-do's?
 
I don't know if I can make it four years between trips. I go every 2 (sometimes 3) years and the withdrawals get to me. You must be very strong!
