I need to wire money to Planet Hollywood or another CET property in Las Vegas. Anyone have info on how to do this. I am leaving tomorrow afternoon and would like to get this done by 2 PM CST Monday. I don't have a host or contact person.

We will stay at PH but I play at all the CET properties in Las Vegas.

    Thanks for any help.

keep in mind that the cutoff for wire transfers is 1pm EST. so if you're on the west coast, that's 10am. and your bank has to submit it before then, not just you walk into the branch before then. if not, it won't go out until the following business day.

This is great info. I would hate to wire the funds and not have access to them for a couple days or wire the money and it's past their posting time. I love this board, everyone is so helpful with needed info.

    Thanks a million.

I wired money in September to Harrahs--sent it at 12:30 EDT and the cage had it by 5pm Vegas time

this might be bank specific as I can do wire transfers up to 2pm PST and still have them go out same day

they always told me this was a cutoff from the Fed, but I think you're right and they were jerking my chain. the Fedwire system is open until 630pm ET. lame.

This is correct. I deal with a lot of wire transfers in my business and almost every bank tells me a different cut off time. What that really means is the bank is understaffed and doesn't have the will/manpower to process your paperwork before the fed cutoff. God help you if you try and initiate a WT on the last day of a quarter!
