I’m not a big slot player, but the selection of old-school and obscure slot machines at Soaring Eagle in Michigan is second to none.

I’m there this weekend for their bingo bash (didn’t win unfortunately :( ) and while I was in their “Slot Palace” (a separate building from their main casino) which has a lot of these machines, I saw one that I have never seen anywhere in my nearly 15 years of visiting casinos…

Remember those “For Dummies” how-to books about various topics? I’ve seen a number of creative applications of the brand… but in a million years I would never have guessed they’d have done a slot machine!

At $15/pull, I’m not about to try it myself. But I just had to take a pic and share it figuring y’all would get as much of a kick out of this as I did :)

That may be the "oddballest" of all oddball slots I've ever seen and I'm from the hinterlands of mississippi

The oddest thing to me is that the “For Dummies” series was for beginners, and that’s a $5-$15 slot. No brand awareness.

I almost drove up to SE yesterday, wish I had known you were up there. Slot Palace is an interesting place, not only the selection of games, but the drastically different clientele it seems to attract. Personally I love it.

Blast from the past! I remember seeing these around Vegas for a quarter late 90's, early 2000's.
