It's gambling time again. I haven't done TRs my last couple of trips (work trip to Vegas and fun trip to Blackhawk), but hopefully I'll get back in the rhythm quickly. Wanted to come out to grab some of my October and November FP and then decided to stick around until I need to be in LA for a family event. Staying at Park MGM, The D, and Rampart (hopefully, host hasn't responded to my request, so need to follow up on that.) It'll be a working trip, so nothing too wild or crazy, but very excited to be in my happy place. Was hoping for some pool side relaxing time, but the weather forecast does not look promising. Maybe can still get in a hot tub session or two. No set plans for this trip, but looking forward to doing the same things I do every trip: Lots and Lots of VP Eating ALL THE THINGS Pink Drinks Sportsball Watching Locals Casinos Slotting Around Stick around for blurry pictures of big wins, near misses, and food.
Good luck. And Happy Birthday? We are planning on doing some VP at Park tonight. I will look for pink drinks.,,,,
Your overall scheme for Vegas trips is very similar to mine: Lots and Lots of VP - check! Eating ALL THE THINGS - absolutely! Pink Drinks - probably not the same ones, but yep! Sportsball Watching - usually! Locals Casinos - heck yeah! Slotting Around - Just need to change one letter. (Just kidding, I’m too old and boring anymore ) Our next Vegas trips overlap toward the latter half of yours, (early Nov), so don’t keep all the 4OAKs for yourself!
The promised land. I booked this trip so last minute that cash fares were stupid expensive. Luckily I was able to get a flight on AA through Dallas for 12,500 miles. Had about an hour delay in Dallas - but made it here safely. Currently at the Rental Car Center waiting for a Fox shuttle. I think this is the first time I’ve had to actually wait for it - usually it’s just here. Fingers crossed. It’s chilly out in Vegas. Glad I grabbed an extra hoodie on my way out the door this morning.
It's like you check my Countdown Timer, then schedule a trip that *just* misses mine. Just like the day you came to Milwaukee on the day that I was out of town. One of these days our trips will align...
