We have an "opportunity" to stay at Wild Horse Pass at NYE. I know nothing about the casino and it is not our only choice of a place to stay. This is for a family event that is actually taking place in Florence, AZ, south of Chandler. Any information and/or pictures (other than website pics), would be greatly appreciated. Just as a side note, we are VP and slot players.

P.S. - Not exactly in favor of this trip due to the time of year!

Maybe not this year. Looking forward to 2021!

To me, it's probably the most Vegas-like casino in the Phoenix area. That may change once Harrah's completes their rebuild.

No buffet, but a food court, a decent 24-7 café, a few other eating choices and a Shula's Steakhouse.

Good selection of vp(nickel and up, STP, UX, Multi-Strike)and slots.

They have a shuttle to another one of their casinos(Lone Butte), which is about 5 minutes away.

Unfortunately, I've always found Gila River casinos to have the least-friendly employees and service of any casinos in the Phoenix area.

They also seem to be the least generous. But they have restructured and redone their players club and are debuting the new club this month.

There's an outlet mall next door. Harrah's is about 20-30 minutes away if you have a car.

I'm with you as far as avoiding casinos on New Year's Eve or casino vacations over holidays.
