    **Who's

    Regarding tier benefits
(not including marketing comps), out of the Venetian, Cosmopolitan, and the Golden Nugget, who has the best?
***I am not looking at the highest tier for each either, but maybe the 2nd highest, as those seem to be more attainable.

I have been focused on moving up the ranks at The Cosmo, and plan to hit Sterling on my trip next weekend. I would be satisfied making Gold by the year's end. T
he Cosmo appeals to me because
I love all of the restaurants (Jose Andres AND Christina Tosi?! + The Wicked Spoon is my favorite). I like that each tier specifies at least 1 or 2 free nights per year, regardless of the marketing offers based on your play, etc. I am considered a low-roller except for my 1 big "splurge" trip a year, and plan on accumulating most points through food purchases (I've budgeted $500+ this 3-day trip alone).

That said, if I'm not gambling thousands upon thousands each trip (more like $500+ over the course of 2 nights on average), is the Cosmo my best option?

You'd need to explain your gameplay. Do you mean slots or tables?

250 a day isn't worth that much at a high end joint. You're not going to get much at the Venetian, cosmo, etc.

At your level of play, I would either aim low or just expect to pay to be wherever you want to be.

It really depends what you are really looking for.
Cosmo will send you offers from time to time mostly free play and room discounts or free nights stay on specific dates.
Golden Nugget will send you offers from time to time mostly free play and room discounts or free nights stay on specific dates.
Mlife will give you discounts on your room and free play
Total Rewards will give you free rooms galore at many of their properties nationwide
Boyd Gaming will give send you offers 2 for 1 buffets, Free rooms during certain times and discount rates on rooms.
With that little of a bank roll, i would seriously consider somewhere other then Cosmo. I would recommend Boyd Properties or even Total Rewards properts (CET).
    Good Luck

Total Rewards have Diamond Lounges, which are terrible in Vegas but still better than nothing. Skipping buffet and check in lines are worth more with them too in my opinion. Free shows too man! Also, it's fairly easy to get Diamond if you take advantage of bonuses, and it last the year that you get it, plus the entire next year. Last year they had a spring bonus program where you got 50% more tier credits, it lasted a couple of months. I did five trips and each trip I ran through 10k in Video poker...That gives 1000 tier credits per trip which gives an extra 1000 tier credits as a bonus. 5 trips was 10k....50% more was 15k and Diamond. 50k run through at about 98.5% return 9/5 JOB = $750 Theo loss. Not bad at all to have Diamond for 18 months. Out of that you get a $100 meal, and some hella nice hotel offers, plus mailers.

FYI you could have done it cheaper with diamond in a day if your goal was to use VP to buy diamond.

Yes, but I didn't want to run that much through in one day, and chance a terrible loosing streak. Also wouldn't have been able to take advantage of the spring bonus that way. Plus I read somewhere that DIAD only last until the end of the year, versus the end of the following year. Not sure if that is true or not. 2 trips at 5k tier credits will give as much as one trip with 10k also by the way, same coin in as DIAD but don't have to do it all in one day.
