Who’s going in June?

Just a quick poll. Who is all going the first part of June? You think it will be worth going then I should a cancel trip and move it end of July?

 

I have tentatively have planed to go the last weekend of June right now. First of June might be tricky. Based on the news conference that just wrapped up with Governor, Nevada isn't even close to Phase 1 of a reopen yet. He committed to zero dates. I would think casinos would be in either Phase 2 or 3 at this point.

He hasn't extended the stay at home order past April 30th, yet.

 

June 11-14. If they are open.

Was going 19th-17th, but cancelled Nomad & Wynn today, and going to sort Cosmo & NYNY out this weekend.

Have booked Nomad & Bellagio for the 2 HGS events in November, and will get myself into Cosmo/Wynn for the 10 days inbetween.

I’m starting to worry that they won’t open this year at all. I hope I’m wrong, and I probably am, but it was originally going to be April 17th, then they moved the speculation to May 15, now that seems very unlikely.

 

Book a July hotel now and cancel if you go in June or if you otherwise have to. Rates for late May and early June are already going up.

 

We still have a room and airline tickets for June 14-19. But the longer this crap goes on the more I think I'm going to end up cancelling and going in September. It makes me sad but I don't want to feel restricted in Vegas. I go to Vegas to get away from normal life.

 

We have 5 nights at Adara City Corner Suite for June 4-9th....Not holding my breathe...Have 6 nights at Mandelay bay sept 16th -22th for the Iheart radio music festival..hope we can go to that one.Been there for 5 straight years.

 

I'd like to leave tomorrow, but I'm playing a wait and see game right now. I want to wait and see how the pandemic plays out. Being satisfied there, I want to see how the "new" LV sets up. The first aspect is crucial, the second shouldn't be a problem. The new LV model probably won't affect me much. After a couple of days with friends in Green Valley, I check in to a hotel for a few nights. I only play 3-4 hours a day and take meals to my room a lot lately anyway. I stay at Boyd DT and Sam's Town. I bet you will see some sort of room service at both, for at least a period of time. Fine with me. I'm usually solo, so room service is great.
In the mean time I will just wait and see.

 

They just postponed the Dayton Airshow, scheduled for June 27-28. That is truly unsettling!

 

End of June for me...if I can get there. Southwest keeps changing our flights and changed another one last night. I foresee us cancelling. If this continues into Mid-May, I won't feel comfortable going and being around anyone.
