It is going to be a full fledged White Castle.

Now if we could only get a Waffle House in Las Vegas I would be thrilled.

But I wonder how much they'll charge...$1 for a regular? It's already 68c in St. Louis now... :grrr:

Krystals is better imo, but my stomach is fucked up like a rednecks family tree for days afterwards - regardless if its WC or Krystals...I stay far far away from both, or sleep on the couch and have toilet cleaning duty for days on end.

That's like saying "I don't see what the big deal is" to people from back East who don't have In-N-Out. Some of us like White castle, alright?

I had White Castle once and hated it. Having said that, more people than not seem to not only like WC, but crave it. So, for them, I'm excited. I mean, not everything can be built per my tastes. :)

I have no clue but of course the cost will be inflated because of location and operating costs. Weren't they the 10 cent burger back in the early 80's? From my memory wc was/is in New Jersey and remember stopping there when I was a kid when visiting family. Also know it's all over the midwest.

Just don't expect the prices you are used to compared to the Vegas price. Also, not sure if what they charge in vegas compared to other locations will work in Vegas since it is a known "cheaper" eatery. Btw, this is just me thinking the price will be higher in Vegas.

Also, maybe their food product can still make a profit in Vegas at the same cost at other locations? That would be scarey to think how much they make off of a 68 cent burger or what ppl are actually eating lol.

It was 32c in 1989 when I first went to the place at 9 years old. Why I remember that I don't know. But I would think they were closer to a quarter in the early 80s.

And gofaster, ya you'll get a discount for combo meals or "sacks" of 10, or "crave cases" of 30, or "crave crates" of 100. But I don't think the discount is huge. Maybe 10%? I dunno for sure. After about four, I don't want any more of them. Yes I'm a wuss.

Overall I'm happy they will be coming to the strip though. Even with inflated prices, they still should be a fast, cheap choice, which are somewhat limited on the strip.

No fried clams? What happened to the fried clams? My husband felt they were closest to the fried clams Howard Johnson used to have.

Same thing they are eating in any fast-food burger: mixed grades of USDA approved beef. No organ meats, no bone meal. You really don't know much about White Castle other than the negative opinions of haters, do you?

And adding that if White Castle gives a person the shits afterwards, there is likely something else wrong with the digestive tract.

That said, I'll take 5 Jalapeno cheddar sliders and a big grape soda, please!

Murder Burgers, Hahaha! Being from Minnesota and having White Castle everywhere, I have never heard them called that before. Personally we prefer WC over Wendy's and most other fast food spots around here.

People definitely seem to jump on the negative bandwagon about WC without ever even trying a thing on their menu. Even the employee's mention that people come in with a negative opinion and end up leaving with a new found love for "sliders". The haters will always hate! I think it is pretty cool that WC is coming to Vegas.

There was a white castle in my town in Washington state many years ago, but it didn't last very long as I remember and I never did make it in there.

One of the best fast food chain burgers I have had to date is from Five Guys (no In and Out in my state). Five Guys would kill on the strip.

5 Guys is no In-N-Out, but I agree that they would make a fortune on the Strip. If the rent wasn't so high, maybe in the new Bally's mess. That way they'd be right in the middle of things. Maybe add a "Drunk after midnight" option where they tell you what they put on the burger, so drunks don't take forever making choices.
