I've been to vegas about a dozen times and I've stayed at Boyd properties the last 6 times. Four of those stays were comps from Boyd. I was wondering what people think of either of these rewards programs. Which has better rewards, who has the best bang for the buck so to speak.

    Thanks

    Hi,
I can only speak to this as a local and I know that some cards treat locals differently from those who are out of town. But for me, B Connected is absolutely worthless. I get a buffet every now and then, but really nothing to speak of for fairly heavy gambling.

The Boarding Pass has its perks. I eat in the better restaurants (MRKT, Austins, etc.) for free about three times a month, I stay at either Red Rock or Aliante a few times a year (could stay more, but don't) and I get lots of freebies (giveaways) and VIP dinners. It is better (but neither is as good as CET card and giveaways).

I just got back from Vegas yesterday. I stayed at the Orleans for two free nights then one night at Main Street Station for $29. I love that Orleans keeps sending me free room offers, but its the only B-Connnected Casino that does and I'm pretty sure that its because they have the most empty rooms and they send it to all the low rollers.

Anyhow, I have been frequenting Boyd Casino's about 3-4 times a year for the last 2 years. My main reason for sticking with them thus far is the fact that they have 3 downtown properties and I love DT.

Though I don't live in Vegas I frequent the locals casino's because they provide perks with out having to spend my entire years pay like TR or Mlife.

I have done a lot better with b connected than the stations, interesting the Gold Coast comps me more rooms than the Orleans

I also do better with B Connected. My best offers tend to come from Orleans, but I have seen some from MSS and Gold Coast. I love being downtown and love the vp bar at MSS, but the rooms at Orleans are nicer and I can't find full pay 99.44% ACE$ Bonus anywhere else. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1353311275.468818.jpg

I get free rooms from the Orleans about 6 times per year. I have yet to get a totally free one from MSS or the Cal, but I don get deeply discounted room offers. What I don't like about the Orleans is the fact that they don't have any of the cheaper video poker machines like the Gold Coast or the downtown properties.

I wish it was the other way around for me. I like how the GC is smaller and closer to the strip, the buffet is cheaper too lol. The Orleans has been sending me a ton of them since I stayed there once two years ago. I stayed twice at the GC and haven't received a single free offer.

The fact that Boarding pass moves you up in tiers with less points and gives x3 points always still isn't worth choosing it over B-Connected?

What gets me is the Boyd properties, I love all of them and the locations. Station doesn't have as great of locations (IMO).

It took a few years but I just turned Sapphire with Boyd so it will be interesting to see what offers they send now.

I prefer DT too so the bulk of my play has been MSS and the Cal, (chasing that Golden Arm) but it seems only the Gold Coast and OrLeans would send offers and then only the OrLeans was comped (Sun-Thurs nites) with the GC at reduced rates.

I figured out by reading this board how my minimum-bet-Craps playing gets rated poorly so I started to play some bar video games and drink for "free".

Three weeks ago I booked my first offer from the Cal for the pre-Christmas Cocktail and Dinner Weekend. 3 free weekend nights with a Saturday dinner and drinks with prize drawing based on 100 takers.

I hope they send more like that.

I get non stop comps from station casinos. I have played a decent amount there a few times as well as no played or low played them. I say I stop there about 2 times a year but have only took them up on their room offers a few times. I think it is an easy to get rooms there in my opinion.

I haven't played enough at Stations to get anything from them. I do get a couple free nights from Boyd. However, it took multiple visits to trigger any real comps from them. You would needs to be the type of player to level up quickly to get more from them when you are coming in from out of town.

I started getting free stays from Boyd for the Orleans after my first stay. I did however,.stay for a whole week and played table games exclusively. I get them about six times per year from the Orleans. I would love to get downtown comps though.

About how much did you play at the bar to get that? I usually play video poker, but usually on the casino floor. I would love to stay at the cal or mss free. I stay in DT twice a year, it would be nice if it was free lol.
