...for drinks. ABC? CVS? Walgreens? ...or are they all three pretty much the same?

ABC is expensive, the other two seemed about the same 6 months ago.

The only one on The Strip that seems significantly cheaper than the others that isn't way out there is the AM/PM across the street from Luxor.

But otherwise I would just go to whichever one is closest: realistically I'm not going to lug a box of beer and a case of Coke an extra couple of blocks just to save two or three dollars.

    Abc store

I think the ABC store is cheaper for Cokes. They always have specials on Cokes.
I think CVS is cheaper than Walgreens for items.

Sometimes gift shops at hotels have special deals on their water and sodas.
Not real cheap but you still save some money and don't have to carry it
far to your hotel. They sell them in six or eight packs.

Last time I was there I bought a bunch of tall boys at all the CVS/Wall/ABC and the prices were all within each other.

You are right about AM/PM, My buddies went there the last day of our trip and said the tall boys there were like half the price of what we were payin all week.

The potential for drinking warm beer is massive here :(
