What’s with everyone’s love for Bally’s? I stayed their maybe back in 2012 but wasn’t overly impressed. It seemed far from everything and kind of on its own island but see that a lot of people love it. Maybe I need to give them another try?

My guess is Harrah’s. Less rooms than Flamingo, (2500 compared to almost 3500), which makes it easier to run and manage with a smaller staff. Since the pool area is nothing much, it would be easier for guests to social distance at Harrah’s pool instead of the party atmosphere at Flamingo’s pool. Harrah’s has a Diamond/Laurel lounge which could be a factor to get Diamond and Seven Stars members to return.

I just wish they would say something to what other resort is opening up with CP. Haven’t heard anything from CET yet. Still booked for the Linq on June 2.

I can see Flamingo because of the Linq alley - if those stores & food areas are open, that is one less thing that CET has to deal with to start with. The ceilings and air movement is also considerably better than Harrahs is-unless they changed something astronomically during the remodel there.

Ballys would also be a good choice but I would expect they’d want to promote the Linq alley vs the shops out front of Bally’s that seem to have struggled so much.

Since my antibody test was negative, I guess I’m not going anywhere for a while yet.

It's the best location for that price. Rooms are nicer than the counterparts at the same price. If you don't like the food options and casino then there are many options in a short walking distance. Yes the Casino is a little bit of a walk to front of strip because bazar shops are in the way but so is the bellagio due to their fountains a walk. Value, Value, Value is why people like it. If you don't care for value then that is an acceptable opinion.

The location is obviously good, it’s non pretentious and as CET groups your play amongst multiple properties, when I’m finished, I get better back end comps as the “cost” of a comped room there is far cheaper than CP for example.

Seems pretty no brainer to me, it’s a room in Las Vegas, how much time do you actually spend in there? Further, I stay in their resort room which has the tub in the middle of the room so before or after a long day of gambling, I can relax. I play elsewhere and stay there, I can take a left or right or go across the street and have a ton of options. And finally, as stated above, the rooms are pretty damn nice should you elect to stay in the room. Don’t let the facade fool you, it’s not a bad option.

Most people can get Bally's comped easy for it is a lower tier property. With the play that will get you comped at Excalibur for MGM you can most likely get Bally's.

I also like opting to upgrade to this suite for 25-50$ at times from my basic comp room. My partner loves the executive suite for the spa tub in the bedroom area. Feels like a spa.

Beat you to it lol stayed in the Executive suite recently. The spa tub is only in the older rooms tower. The newer remodeled Executive suites don't have jetted tubs but soaking tubs.

Edit: Here is my trip report there before the shutdown

I get this exact room comped every time, exactly what I need for a Jr Suite or whatever it’s classified as without fail (I’m a low- low/mid roller at best). Staff at Ballys are excellent also.

Yup unbiased the property as a whole is meh. But the value areas really stand out. You can consider Paris Casino part of Bally's. Cromwell, Bellagio short walk. You also have access to Paris pool if staying at Bally's. All good for comp value and full price.

Yup, I do a lot of gambling at Cromwell’s DD BJ tables- or rather did, who knows if I’ll have that opportunity again- as well as PH so either way, I have close options.

I’m a cynical asshole so I doubt things go back to that way anytime soon but at least I have great memories :/

Did I miss where CET said that they were only opening up a couple of strip locations or are we just assuming?

My day starts and ends playing at Cromwell because that's where I stay, but I usually wander and play at Ballys, Harrah's, PH, and (I know, not CET) Cosmo. Any of their properties seem like good options, I personally just don't seem to ever have any luck over at Flamingo so I'm not a fan. I enjoy playing over at Ballys and Harrahs but haven't stayed at either one of them in quite a long time. Flamingo seems to me like the best option just because of it's size and location to the Linq Promenade, if that's even going to be open. I've got a reservation at Cromwell next week, and while I may be wearing a face mask right now, I can tell you that I'm not holding my breath, lol.

That's my $.02, you can take it at face value.

My bet is Flamingo as it is right across the street from CP and they can "centralize" resources at the start between both properties. Flamingo also has a larger slot floor to allow for social distancing than Harrah's does also.

I initially had reservations at Harrahs for the last weekend of June, but switched to Flamingo once I heard talks of it being open first.

I like Bally's. Their newly renovated rooms are surprisingly nice...certainly not fancy, but modern-looking, clean and well-done. I like that they are connected to Paris, so you kinda get two resorts in one. I find that it's easy to get around and get in and out of Bally's because it isn't as massive as some of the other resorts. Their rooms are typically very cheap, especially if you have Diamond status and don't have to pay resort fees. It's actually a center-Strip location that I find very convenient, but "far away from everything and on its own island" depends on where you like to go and what you like to do on the Strip, I suppose.

I could tell you my guess, however it’s mostly uneducated and holds almost no value, so I rolled the dice. A 7 came up which tells me the other property will be Linq. Do not argue with the dice. It’s fate
