We have enjoyed the GN buffet 2 for 1 in the ACG, but I think a change up is needed.

No more Dupars... that is OK... I never ate there anyhow.

We stay at The Cal, so the Market Street Cafe usually every morning. Their simple breakfast buffet gets the job done for me. I don't need all kinds of choices for breakfast. If we miss the buffet, the menu has many selections. We're not into "fancy", just get the first meal of the day in and get our gamble on.

I'm not much of a buffet guy but for breakfast I think most are just fine. MSS is good, Fremont is fine. Had bad service at Magnolias twice (I know many like the place) so I won't be back.

I was looking at Magnolia's menu.... seems like lots of choices.

MSS for me. I go early before 9am. You can usually walk right in, no lines. It starts to line up around 9 am.

Loco moco at Aloha Specialties upstairs at the Cal. Every trip. Magnolia's Cafe at Four Queens is fine with me, they always have a gambler's special so bring your players card. As for buffets: the Nugget was a fave fifteen years ago but has slipped below being a good deal even with two for one; Fremont only if I am solo and in desperate need of a fast plate; MSS is still serviceable and for the price is my pick of the three. I have had horrible experiences at DTG and El Cortez in their current cafes, hopefully this will be subject to change. DuPars is closed, I've never eaten at the D or Hash House.

It's a little ways away from the casinos, but MTO Cafe is awesome!

I have always drove from the strip to there. I'd imagine its a 15min walk to Fremont experience, or a $5 uber ride.

But it is great!

Ya buffet at Cal mentioned above is only like 6 or 7 bucks. Had all the staples plus lots of fruit.

I am hanging my head in shame but since I frequently stay at the D and the Plaza, breakfast usually means a McDonald's Senior coffee for .79 and a yogurt parfait.
I eat at all those other places later in the day.

The Fremont's buffet is basic, inexpensive, good, plus I love all of the faux greenery and the dimly lit atmosphere of the dining room.

If I feel like splurging or if it's Sunday (when all of the buffets switch over to dinner-priced brunch), I'll go to Hash House A Go-Go at the Plaza. Not cheap, but it's amazing food and big portions.

Plenty of good breakfast options downtown - but Eat is definitely the top choice for us..

+1 for MTO. I go there for the hawaiiam breakfast but since i found out there's a hawaiian place next to MSS, i will have to check that place out.

For us, it has usually been either Fremont buffet, Magnolias, or The D Grille. If it's 'one of those mornings' we can opt for some greasy Micky D's.
