Today Southwest airlines opened up the dates we need for our trip, 9/28-10/1, and one of my friends booked her ticket. The other one decided to gamble (how very LV-minded of her!) and hold off booking. There is only one flight left available at the el-cheapo rates, so I doubt she'll be able to get it unless she does it now. Hubby & I are using Southwest's Rapid Rewards coupons, so as long as any two seats are available on the flight, we can have them. A nice feature! We have already booked the rooms at Aladdin, which should be interesting with all the impending sales talk.

FYI for those interested - Southwest has added non-stop flights from Manchester NH to LAS.

Hey Kitty....you from the area? (Manchester here)

Saw your post today and got on the phone right away with Southwest....got our September trip booked used Rapid Rewards Award Tickets. Got the N/S coming back.

Thanks for the post!

Used to be... my best friend still lives there and she will be flying from there. I had read of a few other people on this board who use the MHT airport, so thought news of a non-stop to Sin City would be of interest ;)

Good deal Kitty! Thanks for the info on non-stop flights out of Manchester. I live in Southern Maine and that's my preferred airport. My preferred airline is Continental, but they offer no nonstop flights from Manchester or Boston. Oh well, after my trip to LV in July I'll have a free ticket. Then I'll be hopping on the Southwest nonstops!
