Trips to Las Vegas

I was thinking about this this morning because one of my kids is dealing with something now.
I know theres a million things for people to dread but my version of the big six are as follows:
Group #1 Depression,anxiety ,guilt.
Group #2 Drugs Alcohol ,gambling

Mine is a combo of group #1 that hits me from time to time ,The reason I have 2 groups is people tend to look to something in group #2 as a solution to something in Group #1.

Hmmm..... some thought provoking discussion here.

Based on the title, my answer might lean towards politics. And, to keep this civil, I will leave it at that. No sense getting into for or against any particular individual. That only leads ot other issues - LOL!

Some of the items in #2 lead to #1. For example - after dropping too much money gambling or drinking too much, someone might then have guilt, depression or anxiety.

Most adults put their personal health as their number one concern. Personally, I spent most of my life worried about going broke. I just took health for granted and it worked out fine. Now that I am retired and know I should be okay financially for the rest of my years, the money issue is gone. I am starting to get worried about my health though.

Go figure.

Nostress, your name says a lot. Good luck with your health issues, hope its just normal minor aging stuff.

Most adults?!? Have you looked around at your fellow adults? If "most" adults are putting personal health as their number one concern, they've got a pretty funny way of going about it.

Being concerned and actually doing something about it are two different things. Just the way most of us are wired.

We know drinking is not so good...but we keep doing it.
We know that eating a whole bag of chips is really bad, but we still keep doing it.
We know we should excercise, yet we will drive around the parking lot for 15 minutes to avoid walking 100 ft.
and the list goes on.

As to my health.. mostly normal getting old stuff.

I was totally pissed off when Matthew Broderick and Ally Sheedy had the gall to type in Las Vegas as the first target in WarGames!

Other than that, my existence has been pretty chill!
