Or "Wynn Westward HO"
It's probably in the 8-10 year timeframe, but Derek Stevens owns the one casino-zoned property in Symphony Park, which was used as the lay down yard for Circa's construction. A new property connected via Garage Mahal would open up the Symphony Park area to easier pedestrian access.
Before that, whatever happens if Bally's is sold will be the next big project on the strip. Probably a Seminole Hard Rock guitar hotel.
i have to imagine the start of the expansion of the silly boring tunnels will be the next "thing". hopefully that includes a mode of transportation that makes sense, and not just a tesla in a tunnel. alas.
there really does seem to be something happening with the Fontainebleau / JW Marriot site... but, you know, probably not.
I will print this thread out and eat it if shovels ever go into the ground for the All Net resort.
Whatever CET sells will probably be next - but not a full tear down just a refresh.
They should tear down the Trop and rebuild something there. It's a huge property in a prime spot and frankly it's time. Rebuild a new Trop if you want. Keep the pool areas and knock down and rebuild the towers. Whatever - just do something.
With hindsight they should have just stuck the monorail down the middle of LVB and combined the platforms with the current bridges/walkways. That would have given access to both sides of the street in one swoop - no need for a loop.
(Plus extend to the airport and Downtown, of course....)
On the subject of fantasy builds/projects - it seems to me that Binions is ripe for a make over. It has a classic name, and a location right on Fremont Street.
Separate names with a comma.
