I don’t know about anyone else but someone mentioned East Fremont. I’d like to see another casino down their. Perhaps a revamping of the Western ? That was some place . Perhaps even a new Gold Spike .

I’d bet on another tower of Resorts World getting built before anything happens at Fountainbleu.

Let’s not forget what they originally had in mind:

    1. They should demolish all the shops between PHO and MGM Grand and build something. It's probably all different parcels though.

    2. Something across from luxor/Mandalay Bay. Think that land would do good now with allegiant stadium there.

    3. The lady that owns the land between bellagio and cosmo should do something. :kill:

Nothing major will start for a few years.

Hyatt- Rio and Palms seem likeliest for any visible, physical activity. And the new mini-mall on the site of the Harmon Tower. For me, these three projects are the indicators to watch to predict 2022-2025 activity. If these projects stall, little else will start.

Except next phase of road construction at south end of Strip

Perhaps the Monorail extension to Mandalay Bay/Football stadium? That has been approved they just need to secure funding. I'd like to see it run to the airport, however, under its current configuration I can't see it being a major player in moving people from the terminal to a property. Too small/too slow.

What's the real deal with that land. Is it the Jockey Club access road or another parcel just to the north of that? I always thought it wasn't bought up by Cosmo because ownership is a massive mess of multiple timeshare holders who will never all agree to anything?

I asked my host about the site last week and he said they've received no information yet about next steps but from my suite each day for two weeks I could see activity there; not big construction trucks that I recall but cars and a couple of people, and, interestingly, there were a few plants/small trees though they may have been there all along and just not removed. In typical Wynncore fashion, the site is very neat and clean but on any given day there were at least a half dozen cars or trucks parked there.

Regarding the Frontier/Alon site, this was a pic that Mike E took from the top of RW a few weeks ago. There were a lot of vehicles on the site, and I'm thinking they could possibly be associated with ongoing work that was still happening at Resorts World, but who knows:

Steve Wynn sounded eager to ramp up right before the WSJ story led to his leaving the company. I'm not sure how much of a hurry Maddox and Co are in to develop the site. Maddox said in the past that the company is awaiting to see what the "next big thing" is, but nobody seems to know.

The thing about that picture is you can really see how far RW is from the rest of the strip. I mean, I knew it was up past Wynncore but it is not really a walk you want to do regularly from center strip if that is where you are staying.

That Parcel was sold in 2019 to Bob Las Vegas LLC. She doesn’t own it anymore

Also forgot to mention there are about 11 parcels in the area between MGM and PHO (excluding Polo Club and the movie theater/M&M store) with about 6 different owners.

I wish they would demolish all those shops and put a nice big resort right there. Be in a prime spot .

Honestly, it is really one of the biggest mysteries over the last 20+ years of strip development - how that area is still just a glorified strip mall with the Polo Club in the background.

Are you talking about that massive empty lot by the Trump hotel? Does Wynn own that or Genting?

The monorail is all but done now that the Boring tunnels are up and running. Only a matter of time before those are extended down the strip.

The biggest mistake on the monorail, from the beginning, was not extending to the airport. If that was an airport to convention center monorail at the beginning, it would be invaluable to the city and they would have raised enough money to run a loop starting at the airport, going to the convention center, and then running down the other side of the strip back to the airport. One giant circle with stops at every major casino.

That is correct. The 4 parcels totaling 22.01 acres is owned by WestWynn LLC.
The 16.17 acre parcel north of those parcels, just south of Resorts World is owned by Tishmar LLC
