The Beatles in Atlantic City 1964.
ELO at MSG.
Let me repeat, here.........
Madison Square Garden NYC --- The Doors !
Jim Morrison came out and said
" You're goona get the Jim Morrison Light Show "
All the stage lights went out.......he sang in the dark entire show.
Only thing I could see was Ray Manzareck's keyboard light
Morrison spoke between songs and said
" Let's forget for a minute that we're in Madison SQUARE Garden !"
My friend's father sat with us.
And my buddy snuck a ciggy at some point
Hid it from his father

KISS, July 21st 1979, Dynasty tour, Pittsburgh Civic Arena.
Wow... nothing embarrassing yet, and some great shows I would have loved to see!
From today's perspective, this seems so backwards. No way Hammer should be the headliner of that show!
Yes, 1978. Twelve dollars in advance, fourteen day of show. I was almost fifteen and tagging along with my older brother and friends. To this day I still can’t believe what a major lineup that was, to show up in Louisville.
First concert probably around 1970.....Neil Diamond. A friend recently went to see him...I was surprised that he was still around.
Led Zeppelin, 1975 at the Forum. I was 14. Holy Crap.
Blood, Sweat and Tears at New Mexico State University, March 1970.
I love, love, LOVED Irvine Meadows!!!
The James Gang, not Jesse James for you youngsters Joe Walsh was in the band, also my first date...
I was so nervous about the date NOT the concert. Took a girl that lived in the neighborhood..didn't work we were good as friends but not dates.
I wanted sooooooo much to see the Beatles at Shea. My parents were usually cool and let us make our own decisions (and our own mistakes) but put their foot down and said I was too young.
Rush... Akron Civic Theatre... pretty sure this woulda been 1974-75 time frame.
Jimi Hendrix Experience / Cat Mother and the All Night Newsboys, December1968 Cobo Arena Detroit.
Chuck Berry and Muddy Waters, dirt county fairgrounds, Midland MI.
I too saw the Beatles in 1964 here in Seattle. The ticket cost $2.50! Five years later ,the summer after high school some of us went to see Three Dog night at the Greenlake Aqua Theatre when they were so hot. Their opening act was, drumroll please, Led Zeppelin! This was probably 5-6 months before they exploded. whoda thunk.

Pink Floyd in 1973 for their Dark Side of the Moon tour in Cleveland, Ohio. I was 16 and went with my guitar teacher and his band except for the drummer. I got his ticket because it was his girlfriend's birthday and she pitched a fit about him going without her. What an eye opening first concert experience it was!
