Mainly songs I first heard in Vegas or were in heavy rotation when I was there with a rental car. Lets see I kissed a girl - Katy Perry State of my head - Shinedown Square Hammer - Ghost
I could go for the obvious ones, but I'll let others get to them But there are two in specific that instantly take be back to Vegas for completely different reasons. First is "Use Somebody" by the Kings of Leon. I have probably only heard this song in Vegas a couple of times, but about 10 years ago, Bill Simmons (then of ESPN) wrote a trip report (Part 1 and Part 2)... "You know, every Vegas weekend has one song that every casino beats into the ground to the point that people groan when it comes on. The song is always peppy, but in a nonthreatening way. It's designed to appeal to people of all ages. It has some sort of signature hook. And by the 10th time you hear it in 20 hours, you are ready to break a beer bottle against the blackjack table and start stabbing people with it. This year's song? "Use Somebody" by Kings of Leon. Heading into this weekend, I wasn't for or against these guys. I had no opinion. Within 25 hours in Vegas? I hate them with every fiber in my body. " Ever since, I have not been able to hear that song and NOT think about being with my buddies in Vegas (even though I have never knowingly heard that song with my buddies in Vegas). As an Easter Egg, check out Simmons reports and let me know if the writing style is familiar... Second is "Someone Like You" by Adele. In the early-2010s, at the height of this song's popularity, I was on our poker trip with the guys, and while all of us were waiting for Phil to bust out of a poker tournament at the M Resort (back when they had poker), the rest of us were playing Pai Gow Poker and this song came on. The entire table wondered why such a slow, sappy song would be played in a casino on a Monday night. We were still playing and waiting for Phil about an hour later, and the same song came on again. I mentioned to the table about the Bill Simmons column and his comments on "Use Somebody" and I applied it to "Someone Like You".
Handclap by Fitz and the Tantrums. My wife always loves when she hears that song. Reminds of us of far too many drunken nights at Lux.
I have a whole Vegas playlist in Apple Music. I’d be happy to share with anyone here who uses Apple Music. I cover the whole thing! I start with trip booking music: “Two Tickets to Paradise” Then onto flight music: “I Believe I Can Fly” and “Flight of the Bumblebee” Then I get back into Vegas mode: “Viva Las Vegas” and “Waking up in Vegas” Then old school: “Luck be a Lady” and “Queen of Hearts” Then Party time: “All of the Lights” and “Let’s Go” I include a lot of Rat Pack, lounge music, themed music, and personal connections. Currently the playlist is 67 songs and over four hours long.
"Ain't That A Kick In The Head" by Dean Martin & "Eee-O-Eleven" by Sammy Davis Junior...both from the '60 rendition of Ocean's Eleven.

The Killers "Read My Mind" reminds me of when I was a Vegas local. I'm sure it's all in my head, but it seems like there are a lot of personal Vegas references. It starts with the first line. There have been quite a few times that I've been downtown and "On the corner of Main St, just trying to keep it in line"
