In addition to hotel, spa, and dining expenses, does anyone know specifically what retail outlets at Cosmo constitute "resort shopping" from which Identity points can be earned? Is this limited to purchases at Vitals (the gift shop on level 1), or do purchases at many of the retail outlets on level 2 qualify for earning of Identity points as well?

Also, I meant to ask about this during my last visit, but regarding hotel expenses, do resort fees count toward earning of Identity points, or is it only the base hotel rate (if not comped)? I don't see any specific mention about resort fees in the Identity terms & conditions...

Identity Points will not be earned on: a) gratuities, b) comps, c) taxes, d) governmental fees, e) Cosmopolitan gift cards or gift certificates acquired through a third party discount site f) wagers placed with The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas Race and Sportsbook , g) pari-mutuel wagering, h) mobile gaming play, i) table game play, j) electronic craps and other identified games, or k) in the case of condominium owners at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, on stays in a unit privately owned, i) and any other room reserved through a third party; or any other activities excluded by the Cosmopolitan in its sole and absolute discretion.

Did you ever find out? I sent an email earlier to identity asking the exact same question.

Not sure of the answer, but just a reminder, that any comp offers are tied to play only.

Does anyone know if a booking through Cosmo's Marriott site count for points or is it considered a "third" party even though they have a partnership? Can find a decent corporate rate deal but dont want to book it unless it counts towards Identity points
