Hello I'm 2 weeks fresh off of my last trip and already feeling the void. I'm from the midwest and my visits to Vegas are no where near as frequent as I like. Are there any other places that offer free drinks at the casino. Tunica was always second on the list but it's pretty much dead now. We use to travel to Gulfport but that's a 14 hour drive. I just wanna find somewhere I can get the Vegas feel in between my not so frequent visits.

All of our casinos here in Mississippi offer free drinks if you are gambling. Harrah's New Orleans does also.

Technically Iowa can, but I don't think they exercise this rule anymore in most casinos. I believe they usually charge most patrons.

The only states where the drinks freely come on the floor in all casinos, afaik, is:

NV, MS, LA, CT, NJ. Nothing really close by. Tunica is still closest for you I believe. I believe MA allows it as well, and I believe the casinos are freely giving out drinks, but I'm not 100% sure on that. Sounds like MGM Springfield is per @BlacklabberMike.

It depends on how may credits/points you have or what tier you are on. I wasn't that high when I tried it and it wasn't free. It was less than retail but not free, maybe 2 or $3 ? The nice thing is that if you are at a machine, you can order from the machine.

In Massachusetts, complimentary alcoholic drinks are allowed if you are putting in gaming activity. In Maryland, no comped drinks by law -- the compromise for casinos being the only establishments in the state allowed to serve alcohol 24 hours a day.

@greekjim I know pretty sad about that too since I reside in Illinois. Indiana is a no go also.

Yeah it's really the best option, especially with frontier and spirit for cheap flights. Lol

I did the 8.5 hour drive to Tunica from the south side burbs once and it was pretty rough. Probably won't do it again unless @jpw711 is coming down too.

Yes in Pennsylvania. You must be actively playing, AND it's a 2 alcoholic drink per hour MAX that is now being strictly enforced by the PA Gaming Commision (bastards)

Just got back from Biloxi. Now that all the casinos have put in their big sports books, I'll say that Mississippi casinos are exactly like Las Vegas in everything. Except the food is better. Damn I love that Cajun stuff! The gumbo at The IP's buffet is as good as I've had anywhere. That's right, I said Imperial Palace buffet and "good" in the same sentence! lol

In Missouri, there is no free alcohol, but there are free self-serve soda machines (at least at the Ameristar in Kansas City).

NO for WA and OR, but they usually have a coffee/soft drink bar that's open for self-service beverages.

Almost every Missouri casino has the soda machines. And some casinos will offer free alcohol in the players' club lounges, but you have to be a high enough player's club member of course.

Those "free" lounges are the best casino perk imo. I'm pretty sure that Boyd and Penn are going to take some of the value out of them though.
