I find that the South Point seems to work well for me. Also, their room rates seem to be quite competitive.

After a ton of strip trips, we started going downtown. Very happy at The D. Not much for shows, but something is okay. Such a different vibe downtown.

I often stay at the Gold Coast but comp offers seem to be quite rare these days. I find it a good spot—race book suits my needs, can play $5 blackjack and I find the video poker machines very friendly. Elevators never crowded, never had to stand in line to check in. The Chinese restaurant is outstanding and the buffet is serviceable for a very good price. Another good thing is the shuttle which takes you over to the Orleans—great movie theater—and then to the strip. It's also just across the street from Rio and Palms.

Red Rock and GVR. Huge casinos, great selection of slots, good VP, beautiful rooms, lots of restaurants, beautiful pools.

Rampart for video poker and a nice pool area. But it's too quiet there for me to stay more than a night or 2.

I also like the South Point for food and gambling. Rooms are very nice. Stayed at Silverton once. Rooms were OK. However , won $1300 there on blackjack

Tuscany has good food at Marilyn's cafe and they host "The Rat Pack Returns." It's one of the best Vegas shows I've seen.

I love the M and Green Valley Ranch. Both beautiful properties, I had better gaming luck at GVR - much better in fact; but the M has fantastic dining; as well as “16” and Hostile Grape - both awesome places!

South Point. Haven't stayed there. We stay across the street at the Grandview. Can't beat the video poker selection, and they've got so much activity and entertainment under one roof there's little need to venture far.

another vote for GVR and / or Red Rock. Both amazing resorts with everything you could want and need in one building. Great areas with plenty of stuff close by for convenient options.

Another vote for GVR. I've only had the chance of staying there once, but I've visited the GVR a number of times over the years. It's one of the nicest properties in Henderson with everything that you need under one roof. The District is right next to GVR with additional restaurants, shops, etc. too. They also have a Pizza Rock in the casino which is a big plus, since they're one of my favorite.

The Orleans use to be my favorite, but it got bumped out of first place due to the BConned changes. LOL

I really like GVR and the M. Good table limits, good food choices. I also like Red Rock, but it's a long way from anywhere.

Hey, if I'm on vacation or on a business trip and I need laundry done, somebody ELSE is gonna do it! :)

Ditto with cooking! ... And cleaning!
