Looks like an awesome place! I don’t go into casinos, or stay out of them, due to the name. They could have named it “Cow Patty” for all I care. Will definitely plan on being there with my wife soon after it opens, cause the place looks awesome!

Hello all. Back after several weeks completely down with the flu and a failed attempt at moving; lease fell through. Circa? Really? Shakes head. I like the look of the proposed casino a lot. The name ummm kind of bland.

A lot easier for most folks to pronounce than Gansevoort. :) :) :)

I think it looks great... modern and vintage all in one. Circa will probably be the first place I've stayed downtown.

DS seems all about a customer-centric operation. Only so much you can do with a refurbed casino but with a whole new development to play with this could be something to really challenge the Strip. Plus all those guests will be patronising the nearby casinos. Great news for DT all round. End of 2020 seems optimistic. How fast can you guys knock up sites like this? In the UK we'd spend best part of a decade messing around.....

I'm not really a pool person but doesn't the GN have a nice pool?

The Empire State Building took 13.5 months to build in 1931; no CAD drawings, fax machines, email or cell phones.

It’s nice in pictures when it’s empty. The reality is that you are packed in like sardines when it’s busy and the pool area itself is pretty small

Yep, GN has a very nice pool but it is small and very crowded.

I will step in to check out the sportsbook, but I go downtown for the dingy old schools casinos with cheap food and drinks. Same reason I don't care for the DTG, feels too modern. If I want to stay somewhere like this with modern amenities I go the Strip. Nevertheless, it looks nice.

GN has a nice pool complex, but it is sardine city. cheek to cheek with a stranger in the next lounge chair. that could be fun, depending what you are into, but I don't care for it.

Made me chuckle when they were showing the pioneers of Vegas clips on the launch video then up pops Frank Lefty Rosenthal. A reminder of the mob connection, although a couple others on there have had shady pasts as well.

Wow the Circa looks fantastic! It is sure to be a great addition to downtown. I especially think the pool and sportsbook will be big hits. I believe I read something about a nightclub which would also be a needed addition for dtlv.

I just hope that I am still alive and able to be there for the opening!

I think the place looks amazing!! I don’t love the name, though. But, who cares what it’s called, really?

“Garage Mahall” lol. That, I love.
