Steak for less than a gazillion dollars a pound. :bang::bang::bang:

There’s been a big run on Lara Bars here. Haven’t seen any in the three stores I shop at in about a month.

Was at our local Natural Grocers today. They had plenty of different Lara Bars.

Agreed, I just came back from Costco and let out a gasp when I looked at the meat prices.

America Is Awash in Hand Sanitizer
Once nearly impossible to find, bottles of sanitizer are now taking up shelf space and stores are trying promotions to get rid of them; ‘It’s worth more to us gone’

The picture for this article says a thousand words.

That's Americans being somewhat denied access to their quick-eat-out fixes during COVID.

Various media are now reporting that there is now a "glut" of hand sanitizer on the market, following hoarding and shortages during the spring and summer of 2020.

    PEANUT BUTTER CHEX

OMG I want some. I even called General Mills to see if they had discontinued making it. Supposedly no & no supply issues. But it’s nowhere to be found.

did you spot the price? Unreal. I found a couple smaller boxes at a small local grocer an hour away (made my husband pull in when we drove through there lol). 3.79 a box which was $1 higher & a smaller size than WM. But I got it!!!

After the explosion in Illinois today I would expect grease & lubricants to be the next shortage.

It's been a while. Seeing the Kellog's cereal post made me think. #1 chicken wing drummettes when I do find them I am limited to 2 packages. Yesterday after I checked out and took my groceries to the car and went back in and bought 2 more. Fancy feast catfood is hit and miss. I can't find the Topo Chico mineral water in the plastic bottles only glass bottles. Walmart never seems to have paper plates - just styrofoam. But HEB always has paper plates. I should take a picture of our spare bedroom. My prepper husband has been busy all summer. I'm ashamed to say that 2 people should have enough tp to wipe their butts for the next 10 years -- no sh*t. Plus he goes 2 Walmart every 2 weeks and gets 2 cases (12 cans) of different veggies. I will have to keep an eye on expiration dates to cycle out -- I'll donate to the Food Bank.

I think the toy manufactures are trying to entice in to buying early for Christmas with all the news of long shipping times. Better get the Cabbage Patch Doll, Teddy Ruxpin, XBOX 5000 or whatever is in season this year early.

Smuckers Uncrustables-two plants cranking out as much product as they can, and no competitive items to fill the void.

I went to a particular large location of the regional supermarket chain that dominates my area and I found they have like 80% more shelf space for liquid juices from concentrate and almost no canned fruit, including Cwanberry sauce.

So get your Cwanberry Sauce now, the trucks from Cahvah are gonna get hijacked.

My husband went to Costco and reported there is no paper towels or toilet paper that are not the Kirkland brand.

I've also noticed some drinks are in low supply. I like to have a glass of Sparking Ice with lunch and their liter sized bottles seem in low supply at all our local stores. They used to have them by the case.

Make you own sauce. It's so much better tasting and so easy. Plus, gotta the sound the berries make when they pop.
