My brother said the local Costco had no toilet paper, of any kind, again. Here we go again...

It's highly possible that our local Costco is in a city of people who are prone to panic buying, even though we're in the moderate restrictive tier in California. But dangit all we just got over the panic buying, tired of this 'ish honestly.

Apparently its becoming common again according to the local news. Hopefully if they enact the one or two per person buying limits then we won't have people acting like a bunch of panicky apes.

I went to do my annual turkey selection trip at the grocery store and they had a rollback at my Super Walmart and it was down to one turkey.

I don't know if this is a thing, I hope not.

The ole Heritage? I’m evil. But I swear to this day that was one of the funniest threads. Mainly because you handled it so well. My son has become quite the grill master and will be smoking a bird this year. I started stocking up more on rice and beans. Right now no shortages on dry goods. Stocking up for the zombie apocalypse. Everything seems to be in stock here except the life saving Coke Zeros. It’s a conspiracy I’m sure. Actually it appears restock day is Saturday. Just in time for the tourists. After a summer of lockdowns the wineries are running full steam ahead. The tourists descend upon our H-E-B and pick it clean every weekend. And now hunting season means gaggles if trophy wives in town along with the hunters.

I’m not even kidding....my husband bought those emergency food rations that are in the sealed plastic bucket tubs. My pantry is stacked with them. I just shake my head. He said,”You made fun of me for buying toilet paper every time I stopped at a store, before the pandemic too.” Lol

This is getting serious. For the second time since March I cannot find Taco Bell mild sauce in the stores. I usually make something that needs the sauce at least once a week. I can sub Frank’s but it’s more hot than full of spice. When the 1/2 bottle I have is gone I’m gonna have to go to Taco Bell, order a taco and ask for a bag of sauce.

Give me the Taco Bell mild sauce and I'll spare your lives. Just walk away and we'll give you a safe passageway in the wastelands. Just walk away and there will be an end to the horror.

Well, if you want to steal a lot of the little plastic bags, you won't have much problem.

Spam -- It's never in short supply here. Even in the midst of the peak hoarding. I would see empty shelves up and down - and there was always spam. My mom used to make a salad spread with spam that was good. I have never found her recipe. It was kind of like egg salad.

My grandmother made a ham spread that could also use bologna - wonder if it's the same for spam? Just blend the meat, enough mayo to "cream" and some american cheese or velveeta if you wish. Sometimes I crave that ;-) Though I prefer it on a nice cracker instead of white bread.....

That's almost sacrilegious given that Old Bay is pretty much our state spice.

We used this Badia Biscayne Bay for a seafood boil, and there is another one by Zatarain's.

No paper towels of any kind and only a few12 packs of Bamboo TP at Costco on Sunday here in Orange County. Sunday may not have been the best day to try acquire those items.
