$300 on the Majestic Lions at MGM -- but it was my mom's money I was playing with, therefore her $300 and her win technically!

I don't think I've ever hit for more than $80 or so on a slot. I like VP. Last trip to Vegas, though, my girlfriend hit for like $350 the first morning on a quarter machine and I hit about $65 at the same time on the one next to her, so after a few more pulls, we cashed out and had a nice day with the money.

My biggest single win was $9,000 & my husband's was $18,000. But the most exciting thing is that it was all on the same day - within 5 hours...total jackpots around $54,000. It was a magical night to say the least!

$846.11 on a Konami Gigantic 7's machine this afternoon at a local casino (sandia in albuquerque). Hit the progressive, was only betting 30 cents. A spin at the time.

The most I've ever won on a slot is $320. The funny thing about that is that I've played $.01, $.05, $.25, $1.00, $5.00, $10.00 slots for over 15 years now. I'm mainly a table games player but I always take winnigs from the tables and play slots multiple times throughout my trip. Now figure 50+ trips to Vegas, 25+ trips to other casinos throughout the US and hundreds of trips to local casinos where I live and that's my shinnig moment.:haha:

    The most I've personally seen:

7 12X 12X Walked by the lady two nights ago as the wife and I were going to dinner. She won $14,400 playing $2 on a $3 machine.

Saw an older lady win a new car(around $50k) at a casino in Minnesota years back. There were a bank of different machines around the car and what I thought was unique was that they were all different normal machines that you would find throughout the casino. As I'm looking at all of them I see that there is a red hot pepper machine where the jackpot is normally 2,500 credits while the others like red white & blue etc have a higher payout (so it would seem more difficult to win the car). I decide that the pepper machine was the one to play. As soon as I decide to try that one I see the older lady sitting on it hit the spin button and Pepper Pepper Pepper - - New Car!

Played $10 slots at Mystic Lake years back after winnig $$ at BJ. Had a choice of two identical machines. I picked the one on the right. About a minute later a guy and his wife start playing the one on the left. 3 spins later $26,000.

Saw a guy win $460,000 on an older Jepordy $.25 Progressive at an Indian casino. Another guy just got off the machine and moved down a few seats. New guy puts a $20 in and all of a sudden bells lights etc... The guy that just moved was irate, yelling and screaming (Potawatomi in Milwaukee, not the best guests at times). It was interesting to see how quickly slot personnel showed up. Somebody must have been alerted immediately when it hit.

One time, I showed up a day after my brother. He had been losing, was tired, etc. He got up and left, I sat down at his machine, put in $20... and maybe five hands later had a royal flush. He was so happy for me... :D

So far, my biggest win was $1300-something as a progressive royal at Sahara.

Most casinos have a 'control room' that will indicate on a central screen when any machine needs a hand-pay or has a malfunction, so they can dispatch an attendant to deal with it. You really don't have to have some one on the floor just happen to see the flashing light.

Makes sense. In this case, since it was a progressive, there were multiple employess there rather quickly, including several suits and security. That's the part that surprised me.

My biggest single win on a slot machine was at the Borgata in Atlantic City for $5000 but every time I visited that machine over the next couple of days it paid out jackpots of $475, $750 etc until I walked away with a total of $7500. I also hit for $3000 at Foxwoods but my biggest jackpot to date (although not slots) was $10,000 that I won in the recent half a billion dollar Mega Millions jackpot drawing.
