Same. If it isn't some big group thing I aim for Sunday to Thursday. Leaving Thursday afternoon and I see the weekender crowds starting to check in and think I have once again made the right choice.
I know. I always look at ppl at the airport getting on and getting off and look how rough they had it. Yes...I do judge. It's fun.

This is the level of insufferable about being able to travel all the time that I intend to be when I retire in a few years
When I retire, I'm just gonna move to Vegas and then I won't have to travel. EVER.

I can afford to retire OR I can afford to visit Vegas.

Retiring and Vegas? I'll end up living in the tunnels.

  • No idea where I'm staying yet.
Our wedding/honeymoon trip was 12 days / 11 nights in a then-new Octavius room at Caesars. While I would do that trip very differently these days, it wasn't too much then and it wouldn't be too much now. It was probably right near the limit, though. If it's a consistently losing trip, that would be a LONG trip, but if it were a consistently winning trip, I could probably stretch it to 14-15 days. I'd need to really change up hotels - maybe twice - and add in some new off-Strip activities, though.

Started out 3 then 4 then 5 then...Our last few trips have been 8 but, we normally break things up with a side trip in the middle. We have done AZ, Utah, southern Cal and northern Cal. I used to limit to 3 or 4 due to work committments. With technolgy now, I get to work a bit on vacations - yeah:( Actually it doesn't bother me putting in an hour or two of deskwork. For the future, who knows....I have rarely taken more than a week and when I have gone two weeks or more, I am generally ready for my own bed. before the end.

Bankroll and time are two limiting factors, unfortunately. I never go home tired or worn out, because I book nice rooms, do pool days and sleep in. I’d be able to do it very, very long before it gets tired if bankroll and time didn’t matter.

I’d hop hotels every 3-5 nights.

On my travel bucket list for when I’m retired: a 60-day retirement trip in Vegas!

  • World Cup watching at Circa
Regular trips: Two nights is never enough and three is always too many.

EDC: Five— one for gambling, three for the festival, and one for recovery.

We travel over from Scotland, it will be our 14th trip for our next booking at the end of May. Our shortest trip was 7 days and longest 14,the last 3 trips have been 10 days. We go to the pool at opening time everyday until early afternoon, then out and about. We go shopping every second day and bring plenty of clothes back, even having to buy extra cases in the past. There is always something new or different to see and do each trip so we are never bored.

I went for 5 days once and on the 4th day...God spoken and said you are done. So boring when you really don't want to be there anymore as all that expensive shit just sucks. And you are on the Strip and no way to make it up anymore.

Funny as you suddenly realize...why is the f am I paying $20 for a soda and some Doritos.

Absolutely true. One of those lessons learned is that you've always got to keep moving to help fight the boredom. And even then, there's a point where you're done and just want to get to head home.

Yeah...I fault the airlines for not letting you to get the hell out of dodge. But that's what I signed up for. So.....

When this happens. Really hate that crap by Harrahs when the magical voice screams at you to come in and gamble.

Only thing worse would be in Spanish.

You mean the voice drumming up business for Casino Royale? I walked by that area in October for the first time in years and that voice made me feel all nostalgic. Even stepped in and played! It's been the same woman since 2011 at least. You know you can get $20 back there for your first $20 of loss, right? 🤣

Yes..trig. that's one. It's like the one scenario where Clark tries to kick his last quarter into where ever he is and losses his family..or for me girlfriend.

I do love that whole thing. So Vegas. Though.

But Rondald Donald's will never me get me in there.

I don't know how I survived 10 nights, 4 hours sleep/night (errr.. day).
But do-able!

It helps that I changed hotels only once. I don't think I could do a long trip having to change hotels all the time.

And thats how it all starts..again.. I really don't like you....😕

But I do like the whole get your ass in the door thing...so cool and so Vegas.

Just not when I'm leaving. 😁
