I'd just book whichever one you'll be least concerned about possibly burning the comps.

Doesn't seem like there is a bad choice, so I'd just go that way.

Still in a toss up between vdara corner suite fountain view, Luxor one bedroom tower deluxe suite or corner city suite at mgm. I'd have to pay resort fees at vdara and get $50 less resort credit at vdara compared to the other two.

If that was my choice, I'd select Vdara.

Based on location, not room or facility. To me, Center Strip is corner of LV Blvd & Flamingo.

Ive stayed at Vdara, liked it. Havent stayed at MGM since 90s, and never stayed at Luxor.

I've stayed at Vdara, and same as ReTriggerMe, I liked it.

I'd probably go with the city-view, and have my own pool party in that swimming pool they call a tub :drunk:

Isn't this the room you've been offered at MGM?

I’d go with the Luxor tower suite as a change of pace. I’m one of the few on this board that like Luxor. It is neat in its own way, and sometimes it is fun to be a big fish. The remodel of the Luxor tower rooms looks really nice. I’m sure you’d enjoy your stay.

Called an audible and staying at cosmo first then at aria. Was able to get a studio panoramic suite comped. From my understanding it has special check in and access to the lounge.

Sorry I misspoke when I said North Strip... I meant North end of the South Strip (Main strip) and not Downtown (Fremont street). Sorry for the confusion.

You didn't misspeak Frank, i was just being sarcastic. As a Vegas veteran for 35+ years, the Strip has had many names. North, South, Mid, etc. Vegas has changed over the years as far as whatever you call it. Most people including me use the East West streets as a guide.....Tropicana Blvd and vicinity represents the South end, Flamingo Blvd and vicinity the Mid Strip/Center Strip, and Desert Inn Rd and vicinity, the North end. Many of us call the area south of Wynn "the Strip", where most people are within walking distance of all the major hotels.
But the "Strip" is just a name, no official designation. However, with the new Resorts World coming soon and the re-branding of the New Sahara, this 4.2 mile stretch of land from Sahara down to Mandalay Bay will always be called "The Strip".
