just going through random pics and came across a unique gift I have, and was wondering, what have you guys won from the casino not including gambling...

I won a slot tournament, 1st I ever entered, won $10k, then I won $5200 in a drawing they made me pick and the girl who arrived late got the $20k, I was still happy but should have deferred the pick, lol

won some other smaller money drawings and a signed saints football by two former players, o and a custom cake with a $500 GC to Saks 5th ave..

my unique gift though is, as I love Jack D, they had a tasting party and had everyone put their names on paper into a bowl, at the end of the night they raffled a bottle of JD Sinatra select...I didnt win but I offered the guy who did win it, $100..he said to let him think about it, went back and said cash money, few minutes later, he comes to me and says, "my wife said I better take the cash before you change your mind"...outright it sells for $180+ tax around here

so why unique...the bottle is etched with "Harrahs New Orleans"...I have never seen another like it so I talked around and was told that Caesars only gave out a limited number to high level 7*s in atlantic city and las vegas and that they had those cities on the bottle. they said they have no knowledge of any other casinos doing this so its pretty rare...

its still sealed up to this day

so what ya got

I'll give ya 101.00 for that bottle

lol, no sale

anyone win a car or something like that...I havent yet, a friend, old guy, filthy rich...always complaining how he makes 7* for him and his wife and Noir for both every year but never wins anything in any of the drawings, finally he won a honda civic few years ago...he said he didnt want the car, took the cash option...some people you cant please, lol

Let's see...

I just picked up a MyPillow from one casino with a chance to get two more from another one next month.
All kinds of kitchen stuff - rice cooker, electric fryer, serveware, etc. I usually save these for regifting.
Hats, t-shirts, beads, and my fave fleece jackets.
Clocks and watches for time changes.
Fishing poles for Father's day.
Pepsi, stuffed animals, etc., etc.

I pass on 90% of giveways because I don't have time to go pick up everything offered to me. And I'm a low fish that doesn't strive to be more than a second tier card holder at any casino. It's amazing what more play can get you.

those are giveaway gifts that lots or people get, and nothing wrong with that, but I was asking more along the lines of, you swiped your card and your name was called during the day or you put your name in a barrel and was drawn for a high end gift that only 1 to 5 people would get that day

Tons of stuff, especially form the Mississippi casinos that use giveaways to get their bigger players down there. Off the top of my head: a gun safe, lots of clothes, golf balls (which I gave to my brother in law), a shipment of steaks and seafood (which I gave to my mom), a grill, all sorts of small kitchen appliances, sunglasses, jewelry, hats (actually, a couple casinos gave me visors by special request), an Ipad, and other small electronics

The funniest thing I've won was a Jennie-O turkey for a holiday giveaway about 10 years ago.

In December, on MY birthday mind you, he gets drawn for a stocking stuffer drawing. Tells me to pick which stocking and I said NO WAY! He picks stocking #5 and inside the prize is for $1,000. cash. I told him he could give me half since it's MY birthday, and he DID!!! BTW, I would have picked stocking #6 because his birthday is on the 6th of December and because we are a family of 6. I put that into my 'stash cash', while he spent every last dollar of his!!! LOL Downside is that he gets a 1099 for it because its a 'drawing'. Pretty easy to cover that one with the win/loss statements.

I guess my most unique gift I have ever won was on my second "Millionaire Maker Blackjack Tournament" trip. (BTW- as far as I know, CET only had two of those and I was probably one the very few to be fortunate enough to qualify for both years) CET has multiple casinos in multiple jurisdictions that had qualifiers for this tournament and this particular year (either 2006 or 2007), all of them had donated a door prize sort of gift to be given away during the tournament. Anyway, as we are about to begin the first round of our tournament , they had a drawing for those of us about to play that round. Luckily I heard my name announced as a winner for a Movado watch that had been donated by the Showboat Casino in Atlantic City. After I got home after the tournament, I priced Movado watches and it appeared that my watch was worth somewhere between $700 and $1,000 retail. I didn't feel like going thru the hassle of E-Bay or other sales options so now I have a pretty fancy watch to wear when I go to the casinos. Oddly enough, I rarely wear this watch other than casino visits. I just don't wear a lot of jewelry other than in the casino and even then, it is mostly in the poker room. I am not much of a bling guy but it seems to fit in more at the poker room than elsewhere,

nice, I got a nice watch from Harrahs New Orleand, not through a raffle but for a higher play giveaway, one where you view in a private party area and they mail you the item, got lots of gifts like that...my issue is im also not big on jewelery and when I would wear it the few times I did, I always pulled my phone out to check the time, lol.. $500 Bulova watch, somehow i still cracked the glass in the few times I wore it and dont know how

this football, every saints game they do a party for invited guest, you put your name in a barrel and at halftime they draw one winner and you get the football...i wasnt going to the party as i was drinking in the diamond lounge watching the game there. my friend said lets go and enter, its 2 minutes before halftime. i walked over and ended up winning the ball, lol

this was a cake party, 32 custom cakes, think they had 500 people...if selected, pick a cake and under it a GC to saks from $50(really) up to $15,000...i didnt even look at the cakes, wasnt expecting to be called. when they did i didnt know what to do so ran to this cake, ended up with $500 GC and got to keep the cake...ened up paying $18 out of pocket for some gucci sneakers, lol

have lots of other stuff too

Oh, I've won those but only for cash. :D

Local casino in Indiana won tickets to a Jimmy Buffett concert. Had just arrived, put my card in the machine and they called my name. Sold them for $180..lol.

1 cruise (I selected The Bahamas) and another trip to Mexico...I took $1000 cash instead.

Won a Harley Trike at casino about 3 years ago. Value $33,000. After selling it back thru the dealership and paying taxes I cleared around $18,000. Made a dent into another year of college at UW Madison for my daughter.

I knew where Leo21 was from just from his post. I get so many offers from Joliet Harrahs for different gifts every week. My local casino only does a gift giveaway one time a month & you have to run through 5x as much play as Joliet requires of play to even get the gift - plus while supplies last & they do it starting at 8 am on a weekday. So only people getting them are retired & seniors who aren't working at the time.
