He is on the Cooking Network which is different from the Food Network. He is in his second season of a show call EMERIL'S FLORDA.

The first cooking how I remember was the galloping gourmet, then Ming Tsai and the Yan can cook guy, then Bobby Flay and Jack on Grilln and Chilln.

Every see Biker Billy Cooks with Fire? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XlU-E1tSyEM Talk about low budget.

I think it is a sad world when a chef or a DJ makes millions of dollars.

I remember the Galloping Gourmet, great show. After a while he toned down his act and the ratings went down from what I remember.

Who was the cajun guy? He would say Woo Wee or something like that.

the greatness of Justin Wilson.......if it crawls, walks, swims, or flies and you can catch it and fit it in a pot then you can cook it and eat it!

I see no problem with a chef using his talents to write books, open restaurants, lend his name to a group of investors who want to open up a restaurant, appear on TV for a fee. No problem with a DJ creating a vibe that makes folks open their wallets and spend $1200 on bottle service which could otherwise be bought at Lee's Discount Liquors for $75.

I have a problem with athletes making multiple millions which puts attending a sporting event out of the reach for a family of four.

The first for me would have been Julia Child. Later on I used to watch "The Frugal Gourmet" on PBS.

I watched the Frugal Gourmet too. It's a shame he turned out to be a perv.

Pro athletes make millions because they generate billions. Plus depending on the sport they play, a large percentage of them have a hard time getting out bed in the morning. And a family of four not being able to attend a sporting event is no different than a family of four not being able to go to Gordon Ramsays steakhouse because a filet mignon is $115 because it is in his restaurant.

I did not know about the sexual abuse allegations and also that he died in 2004. I found this article
    http://seattletimes.com/html/living/2001976403_smith10.html

He was never tried and he denied the allegations. Nevertheless he is gone.
