Space blanket, those silver things. Line a garbage can with it, fill it with ice and it's a cooler.

I have always packed a box of KD - Kraft Macaroni & Cheese dinner, and more than once made it in the coffee pot. I've grown up since then and now bring along a hot pot https://www.salton.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/MP1206_1-1-600x600.jpg Look, even the photo has KD in it!

I'm really intrigued by that portable oven though.

I have a collection of North Korea lapel pins. You know like the kind you see them wearing on documentaries.

I always take them with me and wear them around. Usually no one notices but got the real stink eye from an old japanese guy one time.

Not me but my dad always packs a pair of pliers, plumbers tape and a shower head. Always has awesome water pressure in his hotel rooms.

Soft sided "Vegas" blinged cooler for rooms with no mini fridge. I picked it up for about $7 at one of the souvenir stores on Fremont St. I also use a twisty tie to fasten the zipper on my suitcase while flying.

When I forget to bring some or don't have room, I always wish I had.

On that topic, Psyllium Husk is always a "regular" for a trip.

I bought a 3 pack of flat duct tape, a paper hole punch (lots of uses at home too), and a styptic pencil that I have been telling myself To buy for years and forget when the bleeding stops. ( I shave in the shower with no mirror )

I brought a small K-cup coffee maker I got for free at my local casino to Vegas on my last trip. Suffering from my usual sleep deprivation, I managed to burn my forearm with it, rather badly, so now I have a rule: no small appliances are to be brought to Vegas. Seems simple enough!

I do bring ziploc bags of all sizes, in case there is a treat I have to bring home. Mostly they go unused, but it's nice to have the option.

I usually bring fresh fruit that travels well (oranges, apples) and low perishable snacks. I don't rent a car so I hate the idea of wasting an hour looking for this stuff. Sometimes you need your own lime!

I didn’t think I would be able to post in this thread but on my last trip (last week) and on other trips I pack a rubber elastic tube so I can do rotator cuff and shoulder rehab type exercises. I do these on a regular basis to prevent issues I’ve had earlier in my life.

This has actually caused my bag to be searched a few times- but I have a small humidifier that works with a pop bottle. Since it plugs into a wall outlet, it freaked the lame brains that work at TSA.

Wash cloths...Don't like "sharing". And sticky notes. Just in case I need to leave a message or request for housekeeping. And wire hangers can never have too many hangers and plus I leave these behind.

My OH does the same. Brings a couple of resistance bands too for isometric exercises.
He needs to have something to do while I'm waking up, and it definitely helps.

Forgot that one. I will tell you from personal experience - do NOT leave it running so it will run out of water while you are out of the room. Make sure it's totally full so it would still be going when housekeeping comes in or disassemble it. I had them try to be helpful one trip and they threw away the water bottle since it was empty. However that also meant the cap you have to screw into it to insert into the vaporizer also was thrown. It's a lifesaver in Vegas to help prevent bloody noses. Luckily some calls to the company had them provide me with a replacement bottle top.
