Yeah, that devil dance was potent.. But I'd definitely have it again. Left that taste in the mouth like eating a rubber band...

By the way,i love the Belgian beers (lefe etc) . If you want to get toe up, go for the Baltica Russian beers. Those will do you right.

I have read so many good things about that brewery, especially "King Sue"! But I haven't found anywhere that sells it in Chicago or St. Louis. :(

As for me...I drank enough to pass out on the recliner.

Toppling Goliath is right up there with Three Floyds... very hop forward, and several styles of american pale.

I was in the supermarket earlier, and spotted this... wondered if I should get started  Samuel Adams is my regular beer when I'm over the pond. You can't really see the shelf label, but it made me chuckle that this is considered 'Craft' beer :)

But instead I went for some of this, it's rather good. :headbang: -

Yeah craft beer is a stretch on that. And definitely not worth $2.50 US per bottle! [emoji35] Especially if Lagunitas IPA was the same price! Most CET bars have Lagunitas available now, fyi. Not sure if you can get it on the floor though.

Love this bottle. (9%; 3.75 sips)

After this a nice Great Lakes Alberta Clipper Porter (7.8%; 4 sips). Like Guiness with a chocolaty bite.

Also had one of my favorites for the fall season, Schafly Pumpkin Ale (8%; 4.25 sips).
