Well, not "right now", but last night - Glenlivet 14... and it is quite good... I highly recommend.
Mix it with Green Tea or Lemonade....trust me...

Milk break--with a kicker!
I think I could go for a Sazerac cocktail, I'm missing the Peychaud's bitters though.
Just finished a Crater Lake gin x with a splash vermouth. As a former bev mgr, I don't consider it a mart unless you chill a mart glass, stir the drink (no, not shake Mr. Bond) and strain then garnish with your pick. Might have one more or move on to just a Trader Joes Speyside single malt.
Agreed, I like mine stirred not shaken, but remember, James Bond liked his with a lemon peel. Someone once told me that drinks with citrus were better shaken. I just don't want to bruise the Gin in my drink, so I stir. Chill the glass in the freezer for about 10 minutes or more. I keep one in the freezer in case of an emergency. 4 jumbo Costco Olives. I say have another, Joe.
Yesterday, for the first time in my life, I purchased a case of Four Roses. Whether it’s isolation, quarantine or the end times there will be Bourbon.
Bond’s Martini was a Vesper with the recipe clearly laid out in the book Casino Royal. A combination of (Gordon’s) Gin, Vodka and Kina Lillet (which has a flavor that is different from the current Lillet (Cocchi Americano is a good sub) and a lemon twist (so no citrus per se). But this is a topic for another thread...Bond should have stirred this cocktail.
A pour of Turkey 101 with a splash of water before making dinner.
Jameson 18 year reserve. Good stuff.
Fast forward to 2:04 for the Casino Royale scene.
That’s it! It took them till 2006 to get it right since the 1950-something Ian Fleming Novel of the same name! Nice compilation!
Two weeks ago, I was told to work from home because apparently I am so essential, I need to be isolated from everyone else. I have sampled just about every whiskey in the house. I still have a regular Buffalo Trace and a Knob Creek store pick unopened. I also have an Oregon Spirit that I don't really care for . All neat unless noted:
3/17 Old Ezra 7-year
3/18 Cedar Ridge / coke
3/19 Four Roses SmB
3/21 Knob Creek / coke
3/23 1792 BIB
3/24 Gentleman Jack
3/25 Basil Hayden's
3/26 Elmer T Lee 100th Tribute
3/26 Old Ezra 7-year
3/27 Buffalo Trace SiB store pick
3/28 Crown Apple / rocks
3/28 Basil Hayden's
3/28 Gentleman Jack
3/30 Bulleit / coke
3/30 Blanton's (right now)
Evening (ok really around 3pm) Regular Crown and Coke Zero
Lucky for me these are all purchased at deemed “essential services “ businesses. So are the weed stores. So I got that going for me. Which is nice.
