I can’t look at that stuff. I had a bad reaction to it when I was 18.
Haven’t been drinking much lately. Giving my body a rest, but still manage one or two drinks a week.
Lately it’s been this mixed with some Coke.
Saving this for something special. Been holding onto it for a year now. It will sit sealed until that day comes.
Stouts and cold weather go together.
Willittized? As in old Willett Rye barrels?? Yum!
So happy it's back in four packs. I would prefer 6, but that's okay. The bomber only distribution last year sucked. Much happier buying a 4 pack for $14 (and yes I got boned on that price) than a 22 oz. bomber for $9. Haven't opened one yet, but will soon.
Speaking of big stouts. Had this last night. (13%; 4.5 sips).
Felt like it had a bit more coffee and less maple than last year, but still very, very good. Not very boozy at all.
And this was also great.
Hop Butcher Run To Daylight. (10.5%; 4.75 sips) A very smooth, juicy, citrusy Triple hazy IPA.
Anyone that comes to Chicago and likes Hazy IPAs should seek these guys out!
This year it is a little fuller bodied, not a lot of coffee, but a ton of barrel/whiskey. A solid stout, with some great barrel character. Speaking of 4 packs, bombers, and barrel aged stouts, it’s pretty nice that CBS is in 4 packs this year. I grabbed a single when I got the 4 pack of Willitized. I’m guessing that Lumberjack stout is a step above the Willitized, and boy that orange juice you’re drinking looks pretty good, too!
More barrel than last year? I thought last year was pretty strong. I really should try to sit on one for awhile, but I struggle to do that. Lol

Um ideally probably in-between. Lol how cold is your basement? Probably more important to keep it in a mostly dark place.
Me too.....it was a staple at late season football games, straight or with hot apple cider.

If you got a dark spot for it i probably pick that. Otherwise fridge. Fridge will probably make it age slower.

Sitting on back patio drinking a White Russian - Tito’s. Finally my neighbor stopped blowing leaves. Husband is busy getting pissed off at the news—I just walk away and enjoy an adult beverage. Finally some peace and quiet.
Had Yuengling Hersheys chocolate porter today. Really lite and drinkable with a big chocolate taste.
Kinda taste like an olde fashioned chocolate phosphate Good shit Maynard
