Ok, thinking on this, there IS one major pet peeve I have in Vegas....people always open up to me, whether I welcome it or not.

I have this everywhere and am usually OK with it, as I know sometimes it helps people taking to someone they'll never see again, but it's emotionally draining to have it happen a ton, and selfishly, Vegas is my recharge time!!!!!

It still happens a ton in Vegas (even with staff!) and this is the ONE place I really wish I was invisible, as I just don't have the heart to shut someone down, but it is absolutely my "oh cripes, here we go" cringworthy moment. I just want to say "nooooo talkies!" :D

A guy at my local was just cited for "pulling the lever" in public!
And we wasn't even playing MAX BET...

This is one of my top three which is similar to what Fullpay and Canadianeh said.
People suddenly stopping in the aisles or walking toward you two or three across and not yielding.
I used to have more tolerance for rude people....... now...... there is probably gonna be a collision.

I also hate when people run up to a craps or blackjack table and throw their money in with no regard for current players and interrupt the game.

The final one is table coaches. The people that stand behind you explaining to their friend how the game works and pointing at your chips.

When I encounter people walking abreast like that I feel compelled to ask them what happened to the other one. :wink2:

The "lets have a party in the room and keep the door open so you can see us" crowd.

Hopefully there's another trip before this one
My wish for an earlier trip came through.

Also applies everywhere but I experience it so often in Vegas: you are not getting on this elevator until I get off! Also, don't push the up and down buttons when you want to go down. What are you, four years old?

Yes seriously ! Why do they stand right in front of the elevator and stampede in without a thought of perhaps others onboard want to get out?

    FTW...

Wait 2 seconds before you bust into the elevator to see if anyone is getting off

OK, I'm confused or is this sarcasm? The way I was brought up, you always wait for the people to depart the elevator before trying to get on.

The people pushing baby strollers and the people that walk in groups walking beside each other taking up the entire width of the walk way at the Bellagio casino

I'd say, not sarcasm. We sometimes bump into folks who are entering the elevator as we try to leave, even at MSS.

I was sitting at the end of an empty row of VP machines and an older guy plops down right next to me. No big deal I guess - then he proceeds to feed $500 in $20 dollar bills into a 25 cent VP machine.

After watching the 20th bill go in out of the corner of my eye I had to get up and leave. I dont know why it bugged me so much but it did. LOL.

The key to your confusion is the phrase 'the way I was brought up.' So obviously you were raised by someone who taught you some manners. People are constantly charging into the elevator before I get a chance to exit. So for those persons who weren't properly raised I square up in the center of the door and wait until they are able to solve the riddle of why they can't get in.

These people go into the same category as the aisle/escalator stoppers and the 3 abreast walkers.
    .........There's gonna be a collision!
