Trips to Las Vegas
4
Been reading some marvelous posts on bad behaviour and our shared annoyances over them.

Of course, where talking about 'the others' here, not us ;-)

My las trip:

- This guy next to me at roulette who had his larger-than-life attitude and needed his space for his $20 bankroll, practically pushing me towards the floor

- This 'lady' being a little too interested in me at the craps table, after 10 minutes asking me if I was interested in 'some company' Lord...

- Stopping a hot craps table, because this guys doesnt believe his losing coupon is only good for one roll. stop everything, demaning a pitboss.

- Playing poker, no I don't care about all the times in the past 20 years your aces got cracked. Be gone from me

What annoys you when in Vegas?

I am a smoker, so I always put my cigarettes and ashtray on my machine for everyone to see. I hate it when people sit next to me and start waving their hand in front of them or start the fake cough. I was there first, so just move to the next machine.

When the barman tells me that it's time for bed :drunk:

I'm in Vegas, so don't let anything irritate me while I'm there.

I'm on Central time and it annoys the hell out me when I wake up at 5am on vacation the first few days

Other than walking up to a slot machine that I want to play and finding cigarette ashes all over the machine and chair and no one around to wipe it clean, not much else in Vegas annoys me..

When someone steps off the escalator and stops to look around. I play a game where I tell them 'I'd stand there.' After two days I'll still say it. After four days there might be shoulder checks

Dudes trying to hand me CDs.

The ones I've encountered on our last few trips are quite aggressive, seem to have short fuses, and don't seem too bright!

2015:
After I had already issued a few "No, thanks!" :nono: one of them kept bugging me, practically shoving the disc into my hand.
I tried honesty: "Sir, I only use a Walkman with cassettes." Not joking, just explaining why I didn't want a CD.

"Eff, you, man!" he replied. "Grow up you motherfucker! It's the nineties man."

I walked away as I didn't want to waste anymore time in Vegas explaining to him how 2015 is not the nineties anymore! :faint:

People who park themselves behind and watch me. I bet minimum it's not that exciting! Scram!

11:00 am checkout. I am a nightowl, and worse in vegas. How can the city that never sleeps have a checkout earlier than most anywhere else? (Noon.)

Having to use the casino ATM.....
Not only is this usually just after losing my last buck at vp., but having to accept the unreasonably high fee to withdraw some cash. And to make you feel even more like a genuine loser, there is no flat surface to rest your drink during this misery except for the floor.

When I am sitting at a row of machines alone and someone sits right next to me. Even worse if they try to make conversation.

When someone sits near me smoking and practically holds their cigarette in my face so its not blowing towards them or their companion.
When smokers flick their ashes right onto the casino carpet or machines.

When people stand and right behind me and watch me play. I know it shouldn't but it makes me feel so self aware and uncomfortable.

11am check outs. I want to sleep in on my last day!

When a row of machines is packed and there are obviously people wanting to play and people sit and not play at one. Or sit and take turns spinning on one machine while sitting at 2. If its not busy I could care less but when its an obviously popular machine people want to play it drives me crazy.

When people scream like they won a jackpot and you see they won like $10 or something.

I never realized I dislike people so much until typing up this list lol :)

I cant stand the screamers! sometimes it is one person at a table, or the whole table, and I am thinking hmmm... they won $5.

This made me laugh! Seriously! Put a little ledge, we are paying 6$ to use this thing!

People who don't read or observe things and then say tell me about that / or I live in a bubble.....what are you talking about (not necessarily in vegas)..... You know it's over at that point.
