    My Trip Report

My wife and I traveled from Erie, PA to Fallsview Casino. Our room at the Hilton gave us Horseshoe Falls out of one window and Niagara Falls out of the other. In my opinion, this view beats the view of Bellagio and the fountains. The room was comped as well as buffets for both of us. We had "comped" tickets for Christmas on Ice at the casino showroom. We are treated very well by Fallsview during the winter. I receive fewer comps during the summer, since the Falls are a big tourist draw in our area
    .
We take alcohol with us, so we take breaks to drink in the room. There is a covered walkway between the parking ramp and the Hilton.

When I checked out of the room, there were no charges. I absolutely hate "resort fees"

The ride to Niagara Falls was rather pleasant because our weather has been great. Crossing the border took less than 5 minutes each way. We played slots, so the casino didn't lose any money by giving us some comps. I hope that our great weather continues.

Fallsview is great, I was there about 10 years ago and it is a fun casino. It was before my Craps playing days. Don't remember if they have Craps tables?

Niagra Falls . Have only been there once and agree what a wonder the Falls are! Nice to hear how well you were treated and amazing to have a view of both from your room!! Thanks for sharing.

Never been to Fallsview. Sounds like you had a great time.

Just finished reading a thread on W2 and taxes... Don't know how much luck you had, but it is great that all lottery and gambling winnings in Canada are tax free, regardless of amount wagered or won!

I normally travel thru Erie towards Pittsburgh for Christmas but went east towards Syracuse instead this year. Sure glad we did. Hope you still aren’t buried in snow. 63 inches in 48 hours!

You drove my way! I use to live in Erie but just had to drive through that way to pick up my adult children in Pittsburgh and Meadville areas. The day after Christmas in that mess! I lived in Watertown NY for the last 8 years or so and just moved south by Syracuse now. We get so much snow here it’s crazy in this part of NY.
