Table Games What’s your favourite craps strategy

Probably 15 years ago I was playing Craps with coworkers and customers late night and they were liquored up proper! I think we were at a golf event in Laughlin. Golf game all day, dinner and drinking, then drinking without dinner. Then gambling drinking.
None of them knew how to play and Bobby was on the roll of a lifetime right out of the gate. A roll where my $12 six is pressed to $300. I am building quite a rack, but also terrible over exposed. (Nice huh?) I have more than my initial buy in at risk. Bobby was drunk now, did I say that? He has been fist bumping any one in fist bumping range, not even bumping, straight up punching! He fist blasts me after on incredible 6 (nicer?) and my wedding band cuts his hand and when he reaches for the dice- blood, on the dice and the table. We all are keenly aware of the dangers of blood pathogens, and the table is shut down for a half hour while they clean the felt and change the dice.
I regress then call it a night after Bobby eventually seven’ed out. Great memories with those guys.

I haven’t played much craps in the last 6/7 years because I don’t like crossing the border with a tonne of cash. Now that they’ve lowered the limits I’m going back in. I should have enough bankroll to sustain a couple of the inevitable ‘bad swings.’ I typically like a cushion of about 40x my opening bets. I don’t do any of the negative betting. It’s done me well over the years.

Whats your craps style? How much of a bankroll do you start with in relation to your opening bets?

Let’s hear your strategy….
I do wire transfers to avoid issue with being over 10k. Bank charges $40 but quick easy solution if you do want to bring more.

Have any of you witnessed someone accidentally pouring a drink on craps felt?
I did an all nighter and spilled a beer on my cards at one of the two Cosmo floor 3/2 BJ tables,
(they're right in front of HL, shoutout @44inarow for the tip to look at the tiny ass print at the bottom of the signs- but only two on the floor )
couldn't help repeatedly saying how embarrassing it was, so much a spectator lady told me to stfu,
threw party foul chips to the dealer,
then trying to stumble up to the room, nearly ate shit and slipped on the floor, took a knee,
another lady said "I didn't see that"
"Thanks"

*pit boss pulled the replacement two damp cards out a fresh deck ,
iirc I got smoked.

Well, The 1st mistake is that everyone that gets to the table starts playing right away WRONG!!, You have to watch the table to see who is a good roller and Not. or if the table is cold / hot.
IF i bet on someone else, it will be just the 6 & 8 to start. or if he throws a 5 or 9 I'm in. Place bets only, that way OUT after 6 rolls I'm out.!!

NOW for me, since i am great at rolling, no matter what the Min is it's $25 on the pass line, and $25 in the field box ( insurance Bet ) . Then whatever the point is the max behind the pass line, then $90 on 6 & 8, $50 on 5 & 9, Maybe a field bet ?? NEVER a COME bet. Always place bets, to take up and down anytime. AND before my 1st roll $5 on each of the Small / middle / High / You know the one that pays 150/1 if you roll all of then numbers. Remember this: after 6-8 rolls on the avg before the 7 comes up,. I am taking down my bets. !! ( except for me when I'm rolling ) I go all the way.

NOW when you have been there for a while, i will know who is a good roller and not . ( always on a lady, they usually don't know what the H___l there doing, and usually roll good!

Some variations but not much. Last time i was Caesars, i got the dice at 6:30 am, and gave the dice back 7:25am . that's how long i had the dice.
I will be there on Sat. 22-29 .
Later Dave

There’s no perfect strategy but I like it!!!

My favorite strategy is the one where someone buys in mid-roll with $20 on a $15 table. And then does it 5-6 times over the next 10 minutes instead of just buying in with the full $100 at one time.

This brings back a fond memory for me. I was at Rivers in Pittsburgh and for the only time I ever saw they had the high limit craps table open in the back. I was playing and lost whatever little money I had on me. They had a problem with me getting a marker so I went to the cashier - it was around 11pm so the normal staff was gone. They said they couldnt do the marker but could give me cash. I was confused but they went to the back and returned with cash. I was very confused but took the cash to the table and everyone got to wait forever while they counted the cash. No one was amused with the situation as the workers had to count $100k of one hundred dollar bills..

I Just came back, Rio had only one table open, so sad, they said the the workers called off ?? it was a crapless table that was open for10.00.
The other closed table said it was 5.00.
Harrah's was 15.00, Flamingo was 15.00, Paris was 15.00, Park MGM was 15.00, Ny Ny was 15.00 and they open at NOON, what's with that, , Caesars was 25.00, Bellagio was 25.00 and up.
Cromwell was 15.00,
