I've always heard about the size and number of wagers available at the Hilton/westgate and I always say I'm going to check it out, but never do. Staying at CP in October, worthwhile to take a half hour or so to cab it over there to see and place a future or two?

Absolutely! The sports book is probably the best thing about the Westgate - they usually have the best odds and the best variety of prop bets. It’s on the monorail line, but if you are using a cab or an Uber you should tell them that you’re going to the sports book and that you want to be dropped off at the back entrance. The rest of the casino is unremarkable; you will have to walk through it if you take the monorail. If you have some time to sit and watch a game, the drink service there is usually quite good. Enjoy!

If you're a sportsbettor its pure Nirvana!! Westgate and Southpoint are my two favorites with The Cromwell a close third.
Love the Cromwell if you looking to chillax by yourself or a buddy, it's in the back and hardly ever super busy with the center bar and $3 drafts close by..

Westgate opens up their showroom for all the Sunday NFL games and there is no other experience like it. Plenty of seating and food/beer specials and usually have some giveaways.

Agree. Whenever I have some buddies in town, the Westgate is our football Sunday destination. Great venue.

Westgate is a must for us, love the book for getting my bets in then over to the theater for the cheap food and drink and atmosphere.
