    Trips to Las Vegas:
A small group of guys are heading to Vegas in the fall for a football weekend. We are interested in reserving one of the VIP booths or pods at the Westgate. Has anyone reserved one of these before? If so, how much was the food/beverage minimum and did you enjoy the experience? Any tips or feedback you can provide would be helpful. Thanks!

I did the Pod with a group of 5 last October. There's a couch along with with 4 comfy side chairs so you could fit 7. The VIP booth fits 9 I believe. If I recall correctly, the rate was $375 and when they added a tip the minimum was about $440. It's a food and beverage credit and with 5 guys we easily spent over $500 as we were there most of the Saturday. The nice part was having reserved seats. I went back to my room for a short rest mid afternoon before returning for the late games. Attentive waitress service was good with drinks flowing throughout the day. We were beer drinkers so I don't recall what mixed drinks were available. The food was mostly mediocre though as the menu is limited to the fast food places in the adjacent food court area. Overall a good experience and the Superbook is the best viewing experience in Vegas IMHO. We are returning again in the fall.
