I stopped in on a Friday around 5pm during the final week of WSOP in July. I thought it was Thursday and wanted to see the Trooper Thursday playing in his 1/2 game. When I got there, the only person in the room was the poker room manager. I asked "isn't Trooper's game here anymore?" and he reminded me what day it was. He asked if I wanted to start a 1/2 interest list. There were zero of any type of games running at that point. I don't think the room sees much action.

Looks like they have a couple of "daily" tournaments.... anybody know how many entries in these? I know they started them about a year ago, and having been burned by showing up (multiple times) at the Hard Rock Casino for tournaments that never got off the ground, we decided to wait to see if their card room survived.

Showing two games a day, I imagine they must run them, otherwise if nobody showed up they wouldn't bother (see the Linq, Tropicana, Hard Rock, etc). But if they are glorified Sit and Gos, we won't bother this year, either.

I played there a bit on my last trip, but the only times the room was active was weekends and nights. Never saw a limit game get going there. The daily tournament was usually between 10-20 people. Some would rebuy making the pot 25x the buy-in, or so.

The 1/2 NL game on Friday night was pretty easy, particularly the later it got. Watched a guy who had built his stack to over $2K lose it all after he got really drunk. I plan on making a stop there when I arrive on a Sunday. Worst off, head over to the Sportsbook where the free booze is easy to get.
