I've got to say that today has been a good day....

After receiving a nice monthly bonus, I took the liberty of visiting SWAVACATIONS to take a look at the same package deals we've been watching since the countdown timer was in triple digits.... As luck would have it, our package was $175 cheaper than it was yesterday! Needless to say, we've booked our airfare and 4 nights at everyones favorite "smelly place", the Praza. Afterall, it is just a place to sleep between all of the sight seeing and wandering of the strip and downtown...... Cheers everyone!

Have fun!!! I assume you mean the Plaza?

I stayed there and didn't notice any smell at all.

Make sure to request a view looking down Fremont Street when checking in.
 
We just returned from staying at the Plaza July 13-18th and had a great stay. The room we stayed in was room 612 and we had a straight view right down the middle of Fremont street. The smell is only noticeable after a hard night of drinking and a bad hangover ....ha ha. The rooms are big, clean, and the price is definately right! If you get a chance have the prime rib special in the coffee shop. It's one of the best i've had ANYWHERE!!

Just had to tell someone, check that....ANYONE, that the tickets for our trip and reservation info arrived in the mail today! WOOHOO!

Now to put together a good to-do list. Lets see, drink a yard for Hoya, shout Hey Soul for Mikey, snap a digital picture of that elusive midget hooker for Bazootch and the other fellas. Hope you don't mind me invading your Vegas moments, I'm just psyched!

I can relate--I get there at the end of your trip I think (Sept 11) so I'm starting to get uncontrollably excited as well

Although all our reservations are electronic so I don't have any "happy mail" arriving. Unless you count the porn catalog...Oh wait, that goes in a different post
