Weekday December Bars/Lounges

I'm in town early Dec for work. Any suggestions for fun bars or lounges where it might be a good place to meet people.

No EDM or hip-hop preferably. I've hear good things about the dueling pianos at NYNY and the recently closed Bourbon Room.

Thoughts or suggestions?
 
Any level of the Chandelier Lounge in Cosmo is very solid.
 
The National Rodeo Finals are on. There are free concerts and events all around town. MGM, Mirage and TI.

We plan on using the Piano Bar My Vegas award, The Extra Lounge at Planet Hollywood, Beerhaus at The Park at Monte Carlo and we bought a Groupon for the Budweiser Park at The Paris. We will also try to stop in at Gilley's at Treasure Isalnd if there is a rodeo event on.
 
Cocktails: I second Chandelier (upper levels, bottom floor is mostly VP grinders), also Clique and Vesper at Cosmo, Parlor Bar at Mirage, Whiskey Down at MGM, Skyfall at Delano for the view, and the cocktails are better than they have to be.

Pubs/bars: Ri Ra at MB, Nine Fine at NYNY, Rock House (back bar) at Venetian, AmeriCAN at Linq, if you get off strip Double Down has to be on your bucket list. Trust me on that one.

Another vote for Chandelier bar at Cosmo for more of a posh vibe. Hubby loves dueling piano bar and nine fine in NYNY.

I also have to absolutely give Diablos in Monte Carlo's a shout out. I don't even like bars and that one is fun. A Dusk till Dawn vibe, and a whole wall of windows opening onto the strip. The bartenders are also stellar...they even remember us and always give us a super warm "welcome back" when we're in town. (I even got a hug!!!!)

Great people, fun vibe, and the only bar I really like hanging out at. I'd at least give it a walk through if you hit DP at NYNY.

There is a Facebook game MyVegas, and smartphone/tablet games MyVegas. Blackjack and MyKonami.
You play slots and blackjack all separately but link them together to your Facebook account to accumulate Loyalty Points.
You use the Loyalty Points to redeem 3 Rewards at MGM Casinos over a 30 day period.
There are non MGM rewards that have their own rules for how many you can redeem.
There are lots of blackout dates and restrictions like Monday - Thursday only etc so you have to read the fine print.
My wife and I play and redeem 6 rewards per trip. It's a no brainer.

You can get free or 2-1 Buffets, Show Tickets and even free rooms. A lot of the rewards require you stay at one of the MGM resorts.

This trip we are cashing 2-1 Terry Fator Tickets, 2 Aria Lunch Buffets, 2 Aria Dinner Buffets and $50 at the NYNY Piano Bar.
Last year we each had 5th row Ka Tickets, buffets and freeplay at the Aria,

A month should give you lots of time to cash rewards.

People are down on the game because the rewards aren't as good as what they used to be but you still can get free show tickets and buffets for playing for free so why complain?
