I will preface this by saying that I have tried most burgers in Vegas and I always like to categorize each burger into the appropriate class. There are the expensive gourmet burgers, the high quality fast food burgers and the low end fast food drive thru burgers. Wahlburgers is in the same category as In n out, smashburger, bobbys burger place, 5 guys, etc.

The beef was tasty and seasoned ok. They have size options for the beef patty, I think it was 3oz for a smahlburger (kids), 2- 3oz patties for a double, and a 1/3lb patty for a wahlburger. They have regular fries or tater tots and offer a variety of condiments. The way you order is similar to 5 guys and smashburger as you can build your burger using any of their toppings. I tried a smahlburger and a double. They were both delicious and on par with smashburger or 5 guys, but what I especially enjoyed were the tater tots (Im a sucker for tater tots). I also tried the hot dog, which was just a normal all beef dog. Pretty bland in flavor and just OK.

    Beef patty- 8/10
    Buns- 7/10
    Toppings- 9/10

I will go back and I would recommend this place not only for the food, but the environment was a lot of fun!

I thought they were just ok, nothing really that special especially for the price, tho of course it's a center strip place. Shake Shack is MUCH better, as is in-n-out and they're cheaper. Bobbys place was ok but I'd definitely put wahlburgers at the bottom of these places.

Their tater tots are good and also their onion rings. Lightly batter and really thin rings

I thought their onion rings were weird, they're made with purple onions. But I guess it's just whatever you prefer, my sister loved them.

I did not have a milk shake as I was already kinda stuffed after eating Giordanos AND Wahlburgers. But my brother said the milk shake (they call it a Frappe) was excellent!

I agree that In n out is better, but I thought Bobbys was really good and I put Wahlburgers on par with Shake Shack because for me tater tots buy you points!

Will try the onion rings next time. I missed that one.

Honestly when in Vegas I dont pay much attention to prices, I swipe and enjoy.

Side note (I dont think your question has anything to do with this): Prices sometimes skew my mental review of any restaurant. I hate the old "not worth the money" review. Its either good, mediocre or bad (regardless of price)

Mine and my girlfriend bill was around $40 before tip for a sloppy joes, onion rings and a soda, she had a smahlburger and tater tots.

I agree 100%. I have had Wahlburgers once (not in Vegas though) and that one time was enough. The burgers were average at best and not very big. I was not impressed. The tater tots were good, but not good enough to build a whole meal experience around. I have never tried In-N-Out or Shake Shack so I can't compare but the burger at Café Bellagio was miles better than Wahlburgers!!! (and you can order onion rings there too)!

Being a SoCal native, In-N-Out is king out here. However, I always wanted to try Wahlburgers but I just hope it does not disappoint me like EggSlut did.

I can say that the only burger place that rivals IN-N-Out to me is Whataburger in Texas. My god everything is bigger out there. ShakeShack is more gourmet but double the price of In-N-Out and to me doesn't taste as good.

Big Shake Shack fan, tried In N Out this past trip, $4.50 for a double cheese trumps any burger at that price point on the strip, it's not even close. The fries were TERRIBLE though, no flavor and tasted freezer burnt.

Went back to In N Out 3 times that trip :)

I grew up in OK so I know all about Whataburger, it's fantastic too!

Thats Odd that the fries tasted freezer burn. They peel and cut them fresh in the store and never use any freezers. Hmmm

Next time, get your fries extra crisp (ask and they will do it) and/or ask for animal style fries.

These were clearly frozen at one time and the wife would concur, it was EDC weekend and maybe they ran out/couldn't keep up.

I'll give it another try though
