Hi all, will be in town during the college bowl games. Some in the group are not huge gamblers, but instead HUGE drinkers. I am trying to get list of good sport books with the lowest wager amount for a drink voucher. Do any of the on strip books still give vouchers for say $10-20 bets?

if you bet that amount on ponies and tip a few bucks here and there, you will get some tickets. Westgate offers $15-20 buckets on Sundays, not sure about Saturdays. I booked a reserved seat at the Mirage for $130 this Saturday which includes drinks (there are restrictions, not sure what is all included).

Bally’s and Paris 10$ bet will do. If you ask, you’ll get one. If you tip, they will often hand you two without asking.

Are you talking for sports wagers, or racing wagers? I'd be shocked if center strip properties were still that liberal with drink coupons for sports wagers.

My experience has been a lot higher. For example, Aria wants $200 wagers per drink ticket. YMMV of course at the other places around.

    Most places are stingy.
The Fremont will give u some, but it's not exactly the nicest book.

If you're concerned about having to make a big wager to get a single drink, here's my advice...

Spend a few less bucks on your sports wager, walk up to the closest bar (should be <100' away) and order a double stiff drink of your choice, and properly enjoy the game!

How was the VIP at the mirage? Worth it? They have open seats for one of the days we will be there.

How long ago was this? Its been a while since I have been out and spent a ton of times in the books. I know 3 years ago during college bball, a $20-30 bet would normally produce something at the mirage and other Mlife properties.

l was at Paris in April ,tip $1 to $2 per bet and they will offer the drink vouchers from my experience .

Have the tip ready so when he's putting the bet on place it down beside the tip cup thing they have ,gives him the opportunity to say thanks and would you like a drinks ticket

OK, that makes sense. Since horse racing is all paramutuel betting, the race books are MUCH more lenient with drink tickets. I think your experience with drink tickets for $20-$30 race bets should apply at almost all strip properties.

Completely worth it on a CFB Saturday. Had seats together all day without having to get there at the crack of dawn and worry about holding one while someone went to the bathroom. Drank bloody marys and my share of Bud Light also!
