So - we're going to be downtown on my lovely wife's birthday this month, and thinking seriously about using the LVA "Earn 1000 points and get double your age in free-play on your birthday" coupon. She's turning 55 (and retiring in January after 30 years with the county sheriff's office!) Quick questions for y'all: 1. Anybody taken advantage of this offer? How did it go? 2. Word on the street is that VP would require $3000 coin-in for 1000 points. Correct? 3. I am solid on strategy for 9/6 JOB and 10/7 DB, can comfortably play 600 hands in an hour, which on a $1 machine would qualify for the free play if $3K coin-in total is correct. Which option would you choose, considering expected win/loss and variance? 4. Once free play is awarded, what's your favorite way to play it out? Thanks in advance for your experience and advice!
