    Good afternoon/morning ladies and gents-

Long time, first time here. Headed to Vegas for the 5th time, for my buddy's bachelor party on September 22-27. The guys don't arrive until Friday, I'm flying out Wednesday night. He's staying at the Cosmo, so that will be our popular meet-up spot. Since I'm going out there earlier than the group, I figured I'd hit up places we wouldn't go to when they get there and do some pool time.

Currently I have a room booked at Bally's for those five nights. Pretty good rate. While I don't love their casino floor, the location is great, with it being so close to Cosmo (plus connected to Paris and closer to the casinos I frequent - Caesars/Harrahs/Linq/Bellagio). I also have these offers from M-Life and wanted to get your take on if I should just stick with Bally's or do one of the following?

MGM Grand (West Wing King room): $20 more
Park MGM (King room): same exact price
NYNY (Park Avenue King room): $20 cheaper
Excalibur (Resort Towner King room): $75 cheaper

    Thanks!

I would not go with the West Wing room. I like MGM Grand, but those are the old Marina tower and basically broom closets, plus way off the casino floor.

I'm not a huge fan of the NYNY rooms, but that's not bad. I almost hate to say this, though, Excal for -$75/night might be what I'd go with. ParkMGM is a solid property for the same price, and arguably nicer than Bally's.

Park MGM would be my choice followed closely by Bally's.

I recently went to Vegas with a large group and everyone was scattered all over. My best friend stayed at Park MGM and was not a fan. I had a Executive suite for my son at MGM and wasn’t impressed either. Excalibur is too dated for me. I would totally stick with Bally’s on the location alone. Have fun!

Park MGM, much easier and quicker to get to Cosmo, just a cut through/around Aria and then pop through Crystals. Almost all inside. More food options at Park.
Bally's has a bigger room and refrigerator, but don't think either are worth the trade off. If you had a few more people in the room would say Bally's.

I was looking for an options that maybe you could walk to when switching rooms, but none of these would quite work.

NYNY just because it seems to be fun place and lots of easy eats for a solo.

Probably no to Excal unless you really want something different.

I know people hate on Ballys but I have a soft spot in my heart for it. I love the big rooms, connection to Paris and its cheap.
For MGM properties, I've only stayed at Mirage

BUT if you could get a decent price at Aria, that might be better location to be close to the fun

I would definitely do Park MGM. Quick tram to Crystals, then a quick walk to Cosmo. Still faster than walking from Bally's all the way down past PH and across the bridge. Also a smoke-free casino, better restaurant options (Best Friend, Eataly, etc.), and pretty nice pool.

Bally's seems like your best option of the choices above. Have you checked pricing at PH though? That's right across the bridge from Cosmo and a much more lively property.

    Park MGM hands down….

Mgm west wing is literally the old motel that has been standing there even before MGM existed, they literally built around that tower. I think NYNY rooms are shitty and small. Their last room upgrade… 2006!!!

Honestly, Bally’s better then all your choices. There’s no law that says you can’t walk the 150 yards to 5 different casinos. Their casino def isn’t great however that’s why when i stay there I walk over to Cromwell or LINQ or across to Caesars. Stay at Bally’s and if you want to change, Park Mgm

Are you thinking about splitting the trip at two different properties? Or doing all 5 nights at the same hotel?

thanks to all for their responses btw!

I would consider starting at Excalibur, there's plenty to explore south Strip. Then move to either closet to your buddies or closet to where you will play the most.

I would stick with Bally's. Closer to the other places you like, I don't think the distance to Cosmo is much more than Park MGM (which would be my second choice) The Park MGM tram is overrated. It really doesn't save you much time (just some walking) and it is running on reduced hours. You can cross LV Blvd at the south end of Bellagio to save a few steps.

Honestly, I would stick with Bally's. Sure, Park MGM has more dining options, but the walls are still super thin. At Bally's you're just across LVB from Cosmo. Jubilee Rooms are closer to the strip if that is a question/concern.
