    How recent is that change?
I was there Tuesday night and again earlier tonight, and I thought I saw signs saying VP did not give points,

And does this mean the full pay "experiment" has ended?

The DTG website needs to be updated. It's still saying vp does not earn points.

So please fill us in, Curt. What are the paytables looking like now? Is it back to $2=1 point?

Tom D. didn't seem to want to discuss it:cool:

    Thanks!

Ya' can't just drop in and not pony up the dets! IF the points on VP are back, then we need to know the calculation please! It is also interesting that signage hasn't come down and website hasn't been updated. Your new place of employment is notorious for bad business decisions and skirting customer service policies. Hopefully, between you and Nathan - you can get this place back on track. I've been Black Card there, but gave up a few years ago. Way too frustrating!

    Thanks, Grant!

That sounds like very good news.

At the least, that will make the Boyd Casino executives think twice about cutting comps further for their VP players.

Any idea at what rate? I think it used to be $2 = 1 point. Is it the same? Thanks for any info that you can share.

Their web-site still says no points on video poker machines. Hopefully it will be up-dated soon.

Heard from my host at DTG.

"We just sorted out the point issue. We are doing 1 point for every $10. Yes, we still provide comps based on time played and average bet or loss. We still have a couple of games at 100% pay out as well, but have the rest at 99.8% or there about."

It used to be $2=1 point. But with the paytables adjusted up, it's not the worst thing pointwise. Certainly better than Boyd.

So, comps and points and great paytables at DTG. Everything most VP players ask for. Let's see what they find to complain about now:rolleyes:

Have to have some supporting details here or get the feeling this is somewhat of a half truth.
    PLEASE share the specifics.
    Thanks.

Does anyone else find it odd that Curt answered someone in another thread, but somehow hasn't dropped by this one to give more info? Please don't let DTG make you disingenuous! I realize that @AllenAndRossi has reported in, but that isn't First Person, which is how I like to get my confirmations. Making my itinerary for next week and would like to know if DTG is on my list or not.

@FeAdolphus originally posted this is another thread and we pulled the post out into it's own thread as we felt it was important enough to warrant it's own thread, so it's possible he doesn't even know about this thread.

Not to mention, it's a busy holiday weekend in Vegas. Patience folks. :peace:

I only inquired a second time because he was on this very board answering other folks this afternoon. I agree that it IS a busy weekend and was quite surprised that he would find the time to cruise Social Media at all. ;)
