Does anyone know the pay scales for Dollar DDB and BP Video Poker at this locations:
Ichabod's Video Poker Lounge and Restaurant Flamingo Rd.
Steiner's in Henderson, 8168 S Las Vegas Blvd.
I'm interested in this two, But if you have a favorite place you like please post it, along with the pay scales.
I wanted to try some of the small bars and restaurants, Just to take a break
from the big crowds in the major casinos on my next trip
But I want to visit places that have a descent video poker payback scale...Thanks...

Good pay scales at a lounge/bar/restaurant would be very unusual. I've scouted a few of them without finding anything useful.

    Yelp has a few quarter-denom jackpot photos. At Ichabod's, I see 7/5 DDB with 6000-coin royal (96.8%), and at Steiner's, 8/5 TDB (96.0%) & 7/5 DDB (95.7%).

For dollars, maybe you'll find one notch higher, but probably not better than that. Promotions can be good, but they may be designed for regular customers -- such as paying a bonus for hitting a quad in every rank.

You may be able to find 8/5 Bonus for dollars at some of the Dotty's locations, but Dotty's may not be the type of place you're looking for.

If you want smaller casinos where you can park easily, the best options are probably in the southeast. Downtown Henderson has a cluster of three (Eldorado, Emerald Island & Rainbow). Check vpfree2 for pay scales.

Boulder Highway has Joker's Wild and Skyline.

But some of the big, crowded places may offer better overall value, especially if you need hotel comps.

Have you looked into Eureka? Vpfree2 Shows decent pay tables there. Seems like a smaller joint that won't be crowded. The restaurant, Fat Choy, gets good reviews too.

When in Vegas I stay and play at station properties GVR and Redrock (Rooms and meals comped). They seem to have some of the best pay scales in Vegas. I just wanted to try something different for a few hours a day... Thanks guys for the suggestions, I'll check them out...
Side note... A few trips back on my birthday I hit "Two Royal's/ Dollar DDB-8 Grand" in less then ten minutes at Red Rock ... Best birthday present I've gotten in 65 of them...LOL...

    Smart sleuthing!

The one time I went to one of these, Aces and Ales Tenaya, 6/5 Bonus (96.87%) was the quarter game of "choice". Iirc, 8/5 JoB (97.30%) was available at 50c+.

That's good, I'm glad you're established for your basic needs.

According to their web sites, Ichabod's has the "BEST VIDEO POKER IN LAS VEGAS" -- but Steiner's "is home to the best video poker in Nevada." I wonder if some other bar advertises the best vp in the solar system.

Considering all the review photos show bad games, you'd have to believe they could offer something like 17/10 Loose Deuces, but everyone would play 7/5 DDB instead.

I can believe the latter half, but the advertising claims don't seem plausible by objective standards.

There is a casino bar in Tunica sorta like this. 15/10 Double Deuces w/prog. is 2% better than what most people play there, which is 8/5 DDB of course.

The definition of "best" doesn't seem to have much to do with winning at these places? :D

17/10 Loose Deuces at a bar would be fun though. I remember playing the cranky nickel coin dropper at Fitz/The D. RIP. :(

As for more standard casinos, don't forget South Point @Raner. Their bars typically have "full pay" or games that have progressives that sometimes turn positive.

get enough coin in or hit a hand pay, I'll bet you I get offered a free stay with meals...LOL...

Yes! South Point has good VP tables at most of their bars and solid drink service from the bartenders. I like 9/6 Bdlx there.
