They actually did double ALL of the GGWU points, not just the "earned" points.

I hope that everybody that was able to took advantage of this promotion.

I now have 680,000+ GGWU points. (About $2000 in spend)

Yes - all my gift points doubled !!!
I couldn't believe it- soooooo sweet . I can't wait to go shopping in less than 2 weeks.

I heard from my friend a couple days ago that this was the case. CET really dropped the ball on this one. Had they actually published that all GGWU points would double, instead of just the earned points, I'm sure a lot more people would have booked those GGWU booster offers (me included). Their loss.

Was this an offer that you received or an event?

This was an offer I received. I don't know if this was a "targeted" offer or an open one.

The terms of the offer were:

"You qualified because you stayed and played with us at a Las Vegas Total Rewards® resort and casino between September 1 and October 15, 2016! Now we're rewarding you by doubling all Gift Points earned between January 1, 2016 and October 15, 2016!

I had to earn 1 RC during my stay. I was booked at Caesars for a GGWU bonus event in October.

Wow that's a nice perk. Instead of loading up on free play and gift cards at the GGWU, are there any big ticket items that you'd consider?

Since they are constantly adding things to the catalog, and it won't be complete until the actual event, I have an excel spreadsheet for both GGWU and HGS (mLifes gift event) I will have about 500,000+ points at mLife as well.

Playstation 4 is on my wish list, and I have been looking for a folding bicycle, and gift cards and free play are always "in play".
